“We have employed CDN for 2 renovations on our VT ski condo. The first was after we purchased and involved a large scale reno. The second was smaller but required Carm to take over a job that was initially started by another contractor (CDN was not available initially). This contractor was a nightmare. For both jobs, Carm was the ultimate professional. He helped in planning and design, asking the right questions and providing great insight. His work was meticulous and detailed, with great communication throughout each project. He even helped me move the furniture! He was on time and was respectful of our needs and wishes. “We have contracted with Earthshare Construction to design and restore a 19th century Vermont farmhouse. We chose Earthshare Construction because of owner Ethan Cole's commitment to the environment, knowledge of period home construction, responsiveness to our questions, and an overall balance of authority and openness to our design requests. We originally planned on tackling the project ourselves believing our remodeling projects over the past 30 years would suffice. We decided to call a few contractors in just to see if we were on the right track. I was sold on Ethan as the contractor for us when he quickly assessed our view and stated "We need to find a way to bring the outdoors in!" Throughout the design stage Ethan has been true to that vision and has recognized the beauty of incorporating and retrofitting original aspects of the house. Our design plans do just that in an environmentally responsible way. We begin construction in the next few weeks and look forward to working with Ethan over the next year.”

“Recommend by a friend who had a major remodel. We selected united Artisans to perform a high end remodel also. Work included 3 new bathrooms, total kitchen and bar makeover, new hardwood and tile flooring and doors throughout. Eric is a master craftsman and he and his workers take pride in their work and attention to detail. All work completed within budgets and schedules. My wife and I are extremely happy with all work done and would highly recommend.”

“Major renovations at our second home in Brandon, VT. Required complete redesign and reconstruction of the space on the first floor with partial redesign of the second floor with new bathroom added. It was a pleasure to work with Cliff and his crew of Three Oaks Construction and the several sub-contractors that he brought in for various specialized tasks that were part of this major renovation project. Every individual, whether directly on Cliff’s team or part of a sub-contractor’s team, was someone who took pride in their workmanship in every detail that was part of this project and it was obvious to us as we progressed. Even though the renovation was designed with blue-prints supplied by the designer, we got numerous suggestions for alternate approaches from Cliff and his team as the project progressed. Several of these ideas made the alteration have better utility or looks or both. Being in a situation where we had time since we did not have a hard deadline when we were planning on moving into the space, we were able to consider and assess several of the alternatives and act upon the ones we saw most suitable for us. Overall, it was a great experience working with a crew of people who were always pleasant to work with and ready to listen to suggestions and/or questions that arose as the renovations progressed. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Cliff and his entire crew for any construction or carpentry work.”

He did a wonderful bathroom and kitchen remodeling for us and put down new wide pine floors in the bedrooms. He works closely with skilled plumbers and electricians and completed the job quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a good general contractor.”
