“In 2015 Vince remodeled our master bathroom. This included moving the tub and shower positions as well as fabricating and installing cabinets, marble counters, heated floor, hearing bone pattern tile to name a few of the components that went into this bathroom upgrade. In 2016, with Vince's design and excellent workmanship our kitchen and family room were transformed. The center island was reconfigured, as well as creating a coffee/bar area. A professional range and hood was installed where the refrigerator was. These changes created additional room in the family room area to enjoy company. He positioned the SS kitchen farm sink at the best possible location to enjoy our view. The custom kitchen cabinets are beautiful as the quality of his workmanship is superior. In addition to the kitchen, Vince updated our fireplace from an outdated ornate piece to a fantastic floor to ceiling ledger stone which highlights the whole room. Vince was a pleasure to work with on these projects as well as others including a custom built in bookcase, component cabinet, under stair storage, composite deck.”

“Bill Scherbak the owner of Scherbak Construction built us our dream home on the Creek in Markleeville. Our house was zoned historic and it was complicated to get permits but Bill pulled it all off. From the permits/design to the finished product Bill handled it all and the outcome speaks for itself. This was a total re-build from the studs and the cottage style and detail is second to none. We asked Bill to pull off some VERY creative build outs and he never hesitated and came up with creative ideas to add to ours. From the vaulted ceilings with amazing beam work to the reclaimed hard wood floors and all the detail in between Bill showed just how talented he really is. Not only did they do the entire house they also put in 2 x's 4ft retaining walls and a bocce court in between down by the creek and built a shed from scratch with custom sliding barn doors. He kept to budget and the timeline we asked of him. We will never build with anyone else again. We are a few years into our new house and we have yet to have any issues with his work. The integrity he carries with him matches his talent.”

The process was as painless as these things can be and communicating with Louise was easy and delightful. The kitchen and first bathroom were completed in 2018 and we returned last year for the second phase. What I particularly like is that if a problem develops with any of the work/ products, we simply call Louise and she contacts the appropriate contractor to remedy the issue. “What a GREAT experience we had working with Bret! He was punctual, professional and the most thorough of ANY of the roofing companies we had received quotes from. While everyone else told us we needed to re-shingle the area, Bret said that our roof still had years of service to offer and only needed a simple repair as a result of the way our new air conditioner had been installed last summer. He also identified a few issues inside of our roof that no one else noticed and told us those were simple repairs. Obviously, he got our business and we could not be happier!
