Commented: How thick was the glass on the top railing?Tempered and laminated as per Florida Building Code. Check with you local building authorities to make sure you meet the requirements.

Commented: How is the floating shelf attached to the wall?Hi Marshall, We did a structural support inside the wall, between the studs. The glass has notches cut outs to attach to the supports. The drywall conceals it all providing the clean finished look.
