“I had two lamps that were damaged during shipping, and took them to Colonial Brass to see if they could straighten the metal parts that were bent. It was a tricky operation, as the lamp had crystal ball breaks, and the metal parts were really heavy. They accepted the challenge, and did an outstanding job at correcting the problems with the lamps. I was so impressed by their willingness to even attempt the repair, as it was going to be difficult. They are really skillful craftsmen.”

“I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Fitzgerald's when I was looking for a unique one-of-a-kind bistro table for my kitchen. After designing a simple table base and having it made locally (Dallas area), I could not find anyone who was experienced with zinc fabrication, so I ventured outside the Dallas area for my search and stumbled on Fitzgerald's. I communicated several times with the owner, Dewey Fitzgerald, discussing my design details and gaining an understanding of how the zinc patina develops over time. Then he built and shipped the most beautiful zinc tabletop I have ever seen. It was exactly as I had envisioned and the craftsmanship is exceptional -- entirely hand made! I chose to leave the zinc in its natural state (no sealer) so it will age and darken over time, taking on the warmth and character of an old French bar top. Contracting with Fitzgerald's for my zinc tabletop was one of the smartest design decisions I have ever made. My husband and I will enjoy our table for years. Thanks Dewey!”
