Elegant Shower and Glass

Overall the glass installed on two showers looks nice. The 2 stars are not for the quality of the product, but rather the way business was conducted. The project manager Fabian met with us on a Saturday to give us a quote. Never during this did he mention that he was making an exception to meet with us on a Saturday. Being able to meet on a Saturday is important as my wife and I both work, so that was a deciding factor in who we chose for the shower glass installation. Additionally, during the quote process he promised both of us that the shower door would not hit the bench when it opened. He said if it did they would correct the problem. Needless to say, after it was installed and did hit the bench he stated " As for the bumpers, again, we do not have anything for that purpose, we do glass work, and we provide the require hardware to support the doors, but we don't have any kind of bumpers, all doors have the same issue, it is the customer responsibility to put any bumpers if they don't want the doors to hit the back walls, or you don't have to take the door all the way back to the wall, but again, it is not our responsibility, it is yours 100%." This is despite the fact that during the quote and installation process he promised it would get corrected. We signed a contract for both mirrors and shower doors. After we challenged him on the shower doors hitting the bench he decided to walk away from the remainder of the project, even though we had a contract for mirrors. He stated, "We do not want to continue the business with you, so please find somebody else for the mirrors." We had scratched glass on the corner of one panel and on some of the silver hardware. They did offer to correct it at the end when we complained or issue a partial credit. Seeing how unprofessional they acted in promising one thing about the showers and then not living up to it, plus the fact they walked away from the mirrors after a contract was signed we did not want to deal with them any further. We took the credit and ceased doing anymore business with them. They can claim we were difficult to work with, but in a house that we completely renovated that had over 25 sub contractors on site over the course of the project, they were the only one we had any issue with. I think that speaks to how they conducted themselves. Find me others that walk away from a signed contract?!
