Insofast

Excellent product! Very user-friendly. Far better than wood furring strips with foam in between. I have use this product on several remodel projects, and would use nothing else when insulating and drywalling a concrete wall is required.

While researching materials for our basement rec room project I came across the Insofast panels. Knowing that organic materials (wood) and moisture do not mix I was intrigued. I used their calculator to compare the cost of using traditional framing materials and Insofast panels. The cost was very close and I knew the installation would be much easier. I applied the panels to almost 700 square feet of basement block in less than 10 hours. My assistants were my 7 and 8 year old and their 8 year old friend. They would open the boxes, I would apply the adhesive and affix the panels and they would build a village with the boxes. The temperature change in the basement was immediately noticeable. My husband was concerned about the strength of the product so I glued a small section of Insofast to the wall. We let it sit overnight and he attempted to remove it. He had to use a LOT of muscle and a pry bar to get it off. He was convinced. Never again will I use wood stud framing for exterior basement walls. I rest easy knowing I will never have to worry about mold forming behind our basement walls due to wood and fiberglass insulation getting damp. Insofast panels are a fantastic product.

We have had the opportunity to work with Dean and InSoFast and couldn’t be happier with the results. While researching insulation and finishing options for a basement renovation project, we found to InSoFast to be a perfect fit for the application – quick to install, minimal depth required to insulate / finish, and smart integration of water and electrical channels. It’s a product that just makes sense and works the way it should. DIY installation was a snap with the aid of their online tutorials, and we're architects, not carpenters! Within a weekend the entire basement was insulated, wired, and ready for drywall. Customer service was also exceptional while we ordered and they quickly answered a few questions we had before installation began. Based on this excellent experience, we always are looking for ways to recommend InSoFast when new projects come into our office.

We've used Inso-fast products on several projects over the last few years. Quality is of utmost concern to our company. We use their wall panels almost exclusively when finishing off basement spaces. Can't say enough good things about them. Great product!

Insofast panels have become part of our sustainable building resources very rapidly. An insulation product without thermal bridging that provides bracing for whatever veneer you choose as it is installed...that is fantastic. Learning curve was very rapid on our first job with these products. Anyone with reasonable carpentry skills should be able to tackle it with no hassles.
