Dan was amazing! Working with Adventures In Wood Was the best reno experience we have ever had. Dan’s detail work sets him apart from the rest. Dan was always on time and very fun and easy to work with. He was respectful of our family time and very professional. I look forward to working with this company in the future. We are hooked!

Dan replaced our old transitional staircase with a modern one. He also trimmed out our 2 story entry. He did a great job, worked everyday, and was very helpful in recommending painters to finish the job. He does quality work and the finished product is one of my favorite parts of our house.

The cabin had a log stair ladder to the upper level that was not as desirable as it was years ago when everyone was younger. I contacted Dan after some research and was very happy with our first meeting. He suggested we consider a mono beam stair that would maintain the openness of the space, and after a bit of research that's what we decided on. He was very knowledgeable and guided me through the process. After the mono beam structure, designed and fabricated by Artisan Metal Railings (Norm Green), was installed Dan installed the stair treads and the component iron railing system. There were numerous issues and problems along the way, not because of Dan, but he has a good head on his shoulders and was able to adapt as needed. Everyone is extremely pleased with the results, and Dan was a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for craftsmanship, professionalism, and an enjoyable person to work with I highly recommend Dan!

Called Dan regarding a railing for our split level home. He was up front about approximate costs and materials which was refreshing. His honest approach and also his experience is what sold us on him. Dan is concise and takes his time with the project. He completed the job in a timely manner and his professionalism is beyond reproach. We couldn't be happier.

We had the pleasure of working with Dan at Adventures in Wood recently. First off his professionalism is refreshing. You can count on Dan for great work, in a timely manner, and a fair price. We hired Dan to complete our partially completed stair case which consisted of wood and wrought iron. Dan completed the wood portion of the stairs matching it perfectly with the existing wood. Dan also contacted and worked with Norm for the iron railings. The completed staircase is exactly the look I wanted. Would I recommend Adventures in Wood again? Absolutely! Dan did a great job with the 5" crown molding. He was very professional and quickly updated quotes to help me explore options within my budget. The custom "cubby cover" he made on a hinge turned out great and give my alder cabinets a clean front. If you have a kitchen with a built in desk and those cubby holes built in to the cabinet above are filling up with junk get Dan to make you a cover! (see before and after)

Dan helped us remodel our outdated staircase and gave us beautiful stairs that will up the value of our home. He gave us an affordable stair case that fit the style of our home and will match our future projects. He was very professional, affordable, and on time every day for work. Dan at Adventures In Wood is an excellent craftsman. He is a careful and thorough finish carpenter who discusses the work and makes sure everyone understands what is to be done. He is courteous and coordinates his work with the other trades. On our project, he came up with several creative ideas, and yet he stayed within the budget we had agreed upon. Finally, he is neat and always cleaned up his work areas. We would hire him again without hesitation.
