Went to Stair Solution and was greeted as soon as we entered by a young lady and we told her that we wanted some information on replacing the wooden balusters in our home to wrought iron. She went and got the interior design specialist, Kathy Tuton. She was very knowledgeable and asked us what we had in mind. We originally had wanted the classic basket style but Kathy mentioned that that particular style was dated and suggested a modern take on the basket baluster. We had the quote about an hour later and we shocked at how affordable the project was. I called and spoke with her on the phone and gave her a deposit for the work. Long story short, the installers showed up on Saturday, installed 91 balusters and throughout the installation, the crew kept checking with us to insure we were satisfied. They was done in three hours. Highly recommend this company. Some of the reviews on Yelp are very negative. We experienced absolutely nothing that was negative with our interaction with anyone associated with this company. Again, highly recommend!

If you are looking to remodel your stairs, I would highly recommend Stair Solution for the quality and price. I consider myself an informed consumer. In addition , as for customer service and knowledge and expertise, I highly recommend Kathy W. I relocated from Atlanta to Maryland and bought a new house. Prior to moving I knew I wanted a wrought iron staircase in my new home to replace the wooden balusters. I did not have the exact number nor pattern readily available. However, I was able to gather pictures and through the pictures, Kathy W did an amazing job. From the pictures, she figured out this gorgeous pattern, counted the balusters and appropriated the exact amount I needed. Although I got a few extra, I did not need them. I cannot say enough about Kathy W. knowledge about the product and her customer service. I was on a tight deadline and she met the deadline. She had my SUV loaded with all of the material and personally made sure I had the correct items and handed me with a folder with the pattern she designed. I had the work done by a contractor in Maryland and as you can see he did an excellent job by following Kathy W pattern. Thank you Kathy W and Stair Solution. Because of you I am a very happy customer and the envy of my neighbors.

I had Stair Solutions update/remodel my builder-grade stairs. Mike spent lots of time with me explaining what kind of stairs I had, all the options, and tailored the job to exactly what I wanted. I also had floors put down by another company, and Mike's team matched the finish perfectly. The installers were on time, did a great job, cleaned up the job properly. I should have done this years ago. One final word -- they don't paint. The installers did caulk everything, install all the trim properly, but painting is up to you. My 'final' picture is prior to final paint.

We moved into our house 13 yrs ago. Stairs were covered in thick blue shag carpet. Then we upgraded to cheap Berber. Then after two kids and ruined carpet we decided to finally upgrade to wood. Looked around online, got a few quotes and ended up going with Stair solution for a few reasons. First, Mike came out and when I expressed we'd be moving in a year or so, he recommended we not break the bank and estimated based on what we NEEDED, not how much we could get for our budget. Second, the price was very reasonable especially with four flights of stairs (Split level). That is why we went with them. They set our expectations, started on time and the installers, who all spoke English, were polite, efficient and considerate. We are so happy with the results and would recommend these guys to anyone looking to remodel. One of the most impactful/affordable upgrades we've ever done.

I needed to find someone willing to build a contemporary stair system with vertical Walnut Newels and Railing with horizontal steel rod balusters and pass local codes. I found Mike Kennan owner at Stair Solution on the internet. From our first I knew he would be the one to do the work. He had great knowledge and communicated well what he could do. He had serval pictures showing me his work.They did a magnificent job and paid very close attention to detail. Mike himself came out many times to apply several coats of finish coat. I'm very particular and Mike and his crew met my strong expectations. I'm extremely happy with their performance and final results.

i visited the showroom and fell in love with the stainless steel ballusters. the company prepared a plan and quote using the drawings and photos i supplied of my existing staircase. the owner visited my house prior to the installation to discuss stain colors and other design issues. i was kept informed of the order status and installation schedule. two employees completed the job in two days and the work was perfect. everything was very professional. that is the only part of my renovation that is complete at this time but i will try to post photos later.

We own an older home that the previous owner had painted over all the wonderful natural wood in our staircase.
