The Carpenter Pros

Sadly, most people do not understand what it takes to be a truly qualified trim carpenter. I do. We had an excellent European trained trim carpenter for 20 years in my former state. I had a terrible time finding a qualified trim carpenter in Indianapolis. Jason is very busy. You will probably wait months for him, but it is worth it. If you want your project done correctly the first time out, Jason is your guy. We had to mount a new hand rail for our basement. If you think this doesn’t sound challenging, you would be wrong. The railing encompassed traversing an outside angle comprising two different angles at two different heights. Clearly, a single mitered cut would be impossible. Jason resolved the problem in a geometric and aesthetically pleasing way. The easing involving rail bolts was seamless. If you want your job done right the first time call Jason. Also worth noting: Jason does not chip your walls or require serious attention to repairs following his work. I was very pleased and would have him back in a heartbeat.

10 of 10! After giving him a very vague description and 1 photo, Jason Hammer and son (obviously he was born to do this fabulous work) were able to give us the built-in bookshelves of our dreams! They are very sturdy and look like they were a part of the original design for the room. They completed the entire project in 2 days for way less than the competition. I get to do the final finishings personally, which I honestly prefer because of my slight OCD and it saved me a bunch of money. They were very quiet, so much so that my entire family took a nap at different points. They cleaned up everything as if they were never here. I now have a place for all my husband's man cave items to be cleared out for our new twin nursery. He made a decade-long dream come true. I can't wait for him to come back for project #2 to do the rest of the crown molding in the room to really finish it off. We are very excited to have such exceptional work in our home. We decided to update our traditional stair rail to a more modern clean style and so glad we were referred to Jason. He was a pleasure to work with and plan to use him on more house projects. He took our inspiration pictures and made it a reality. He’s a high-end craftsman that takes the time to do it right.

Jason Hammer did an amazing job on our staircase. He and his team tore out 4 stories of half walls and installed iron spindles & a new railing completely transforming the space. Jason Hammer and the Carpenter Pros did an awesome job on my staircase remodel. They were meticulous and paid attention to every detail. The stain color as well as the spindle design was awesome! Jason and his assistant did a fantastic job on our stair railing. Our old house had several challenging areas to work around, but he was able to figure it out and make it look great in the process. We are happy with the end result and would definitely recommend.
