Dan did an incredible job updating our house and replacing the outdated oak! He fully replaced all of the baseboard, gutted/replaced the railings and baseboard on our stairs and refinished our mud room with shiplap. He workmanship was fantastic and professional. He was able to take my vision (and Pinterest picture) and turn it into reality. He improved on the items I found to make it look better and cleaner. Once he started our project, he was all in and not distracted with other projects and got the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Twin Cities Trimming for any updates to your home!

Twin Cities Trimming came out to do an estimate for us late in 2018 for our extremely “tired” and dated staircase. After some details and minutiae were decided, they came out to perform the work. I can honestly say I was thoroughly impressed with their drive, flexibility and precision of work. They worked under a very tight timeline with my wife and child out of town, and even worked to complete the work for my wife’s birthday. Through out the entire process, Danny and his team were very professional and intent on doing the best job possible. All these characteristics of the company resulted in a stunning, safe and stylistic staircase. The grooves in the step were such a subtle yet crucial component that is not seen with other companies and gives great grip. Lastly, the knuckles and railings were done with superb precision. In short, stunning experience and well worth every penny (amazingly well priced by the way).

Dan and his crew replaced our old oak trim and baseboards with beautiful white wood trim. They also updated our staircase by replacing the old wooden balusters with modern wrought iron balusters. They did great work! They were also clean and professional. I would call Dan again whenever we have a trim project.

Danny updated our 1984 stair system and we LOVE the results! It is always refreshing to work with a professional who is conscientious and diligent as well as meticulous with the details. Dan did an excellent job installing our cabinets and completing the trim work. He always arrived when he said he would be here and went above and beyond what I asked him to do. He had very good suggestions for working around the drains we have (previously in soffit, now in cabinet). I will definitely use Dan again and recommend him to others.

Where to start! We are more than pleased with Danny's company and crew. He was referred to us and came out quickly for a bid. For the first round, they did our trim, stairway, and railings. The stairway was designed between Danny's suggestions and our ideas. We were concerned with wooden stairs as we have two active teenagers but Danny recommended a groove style stair tread that has been wonderful. I have never seen stair tread with this groove in them, and not only do I love the extra slip protection, but also love the extra style it gives the stairway. We get so many compliments on our beautiful stairway and love the trim work. Coming from a family with strong construction background it was critical to have someone do the work, that has a high level of quality. Twin Cities trimming and Danny were very particular. The corner miters are straight and clean and extra care was put into the stairs to re-level and design them to correct previous mistakes. Danny's trim guy, prep guy, and master carpenter were kind and did the highest quality work. I would recommend them to anyone. They are the best. Quality and customer service of this level are not easy to find and we were fortunate to have both. We are planning to redo all of our doors and the rest of the trim and will definitely be calling Danny when we get to that project. Thank you Twin Cities trimming!

Working with Dan was a breeze. He completely replaced our 80's style railing that spanned 2 floors and 2 flights of stairs. Communication was great, from suggestions while picking our styles, answering questions, and firming up dates to have the railing done. The project started when we had agreed upon and wrapped up when he said it would. I'd work with Dan again without a doubt. The final project looks amazing and he cares about his craft. Nice work!

Dan and his team were professionals and artists through and through. He was able to visualize the project and help us pick the right look for the house, did incredible, solid work, and was easy to work with/have in the house. He was cognizant of our budget, but also wanted us to have a project scope that made sense and helped us get there while using quality materials. He came in budget exactly where he said he would, and any materials ordering mix-ups (Not his fault) were dealt with quickly and efficiently with no effect on schedule. We have already recommended Dan to others. He does beautiful work and we are so happy with our house. We've upgraded from standard, contractor-grade woodwork and trim/doors to high-quality workmanship that is absolutely stunning. They installed new doors, trim, base shoe, rebuilt the stairs, and put in a new railing. We also had new wood floors installed done by another contractor and they worked very well together.

We love our stairs! We were concerned they might be slippery, and didn't want to cover them with treads. The groves work great, and Dan did a great job! He was very professional, and great to work with; we would highly recommend him.

Dan and his team exceeded our high expectations. They built a beautiful coffered ceiling, replaced wood spindles with iron on the stairway, and installed crown molding. First class look by a first class team!
