“My wife and I had a large curved stairway redone by Bay Area Stairs, and are very pleased with the results. Eric initially came out to see what we hoped to do and the look we were aiming for. He came up with some additional ideas we had not even considered, which we incorporated into the project. After agreeing to the bid, the work was done by superb workmen, who were highly skilled, took great care to make sure everything was done exactly right, and who were very attentive to minimizing the disruption to our home during the work process. Every step of the way, Eric was in contact with us about schedules and timing, which we really appreciated. And the final product: awesome. So much better than we were expecting. Bay Area Stairs is a superb company and you will not go wrong by contracting with them.”

“My husband and I are both architects who just completed a substantial remodel on our own home. 522 worked closely with us and assisted in designing and fabricating all the ornamental metal work in the house. This included our large pivoting steel entry door and adjacent sidelight and mailbox an exposed steel stair and railing, parapet rails and deck railing on multiple decks and a gorgeous minimal steel and wood bookshelf. Their team of designers, fabricators and installers were very accommodating, gave us amazing personal attention, are very detail oriented and provided comprehensive follow through. Great to work with they are also a great bunch of guys. I would highly recommend them.”

He is an excellent craftsman and very professional. He listens well and gives sound advice. I am very pleased with the outcome of my wood railings. An artist/sculptor friend of mine viisted recently from New Mexico and he could not stop admiring the craftsmanship of those railings. He knows a piece of art when he sees one. “Taro and Co, did and out standing job on my staircase we are very, very happy with there service!! Taro took the time to lesson to what or vision was and spent several hours with my wife going over each detail, making sure he understood exactly what she wanted, and honestly this was a huge factor in retaining his services. Taro understood our budget constants and worked with us to achieve the finished product we were looking for at a budget we could afford. Taro and crew, were friendly, punctual and took the time to keep the job area as clean as possible while working. I have had mixed experience with contractor over the past few months, most of them lack the professionalism, attention to detail and punctuality Taro and crew brought to this project. I am going to hire Martinez Stair Company agian in the near future to do some other finish carpentry for me. My only regret is i didn't find Taro and Company sooner.”

“Roman installed two railings for me. They were very nice, professional, and had the job done quickly. They even did a last minute customization to one of my railings in order for the railing to fit the style of my house, i highly recommend these guys.”
