Joel and his team recently finished placing a new stainless steel chase top on my fireplace chimney enclosure and replaced the vinyl siding with stone. The results exceeded my highest expectations. Joel and his crew were totally professional, answered all my questions in layman terms, were prompt/on schedule, years of experience and it looks great. I have had numerous comments about how excellent the work they did looks. I would strongly recommend Brighton Stone and Brick.

Good product selection and most people helpful. Had a TERRIBLE experience with the counter person today. This after I took back two gallons of sealer they delivered to me in error. I have never been treated as rudely as this guy treated me today. Fortunately, I called Unilock Pavers and was referred to another operation that happily provided me with what I needed (just sand for a bedding layer).

You won't find a more knowledgeable and professional fireplace sales and installation team. They handling a more complex installation of a direct vent gas fireplace in my basement below grade. They knew more than the three other local contractors and sale teams I met with. Honest and fair price as well.

Brighton Stone provided the outdoor fire pit (stone kit) for our contractor, who had difficulties putting it together. After they could not resolve this issue over the phone, the representative met the contractor at our home and assembled it correctly. The contractor's review of the staff at Brighton Stone doesn't reflect the helpful service/actions taken to resolve the issues. We also had Brighton Stone come out to replace our fireplace set and install a new gas line. The timeline (due to it being a busy time of the year for fireplace work) was a bit long, but they were very professional and meticulous in their installation. Highly recommend.

It is interesting that the review guidelines say to be respectful. The three people I dealt with at Brigjton Stone were anything but respectful when I purchased a fire pit. I was missing two stones and they insisted I did it wrong. I had to contact the distributor who told them to give me the stones from another package. After much profanity on their part and being physically assaulted I would highly recommend not doing business with them.

We're sorry that you feel that way. As a family business that has been in business for 55 years, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. In the case that you are referencing, you had an issue with a fire pit block kit and putting it together. When you returned to tell us that you were a couple of blocks short we asked that you take a picture and email it to us so we could have a rep from that company call you to see how we/he could make this right. Within one hour of you sending that picture, the rep was in contact with you. Although, both he and us as a business knew that you were not following the key for the pattern in which the blocks were supposed to be laid, we agreed to give you a couple of blocks to try and make it right for you. Upon you coming to pick those blocks up, we again suggested that you may have been putting the blocks together wrong (not by the key shown in the brochure we gave you), you got hostile and used profanities yourself, at which point we asked you to please leave the store and that the rep would be in touch with you to resolve this issue. The next day, the rep came out to the job site and within 15 minutes disassembled the fire pit you attempted to put together and reassembled it the right way, not needing any extra blocks (one of which you stole from our yard). So, at the end of the day, we will always do the best we can to make all of our customers happy, but realizing that we unfortunately will not to be able to make every single customer happy. (*note: customer was never physically assaulted or even touched)

We purchased our stone for our basement remodel from this company. They not only have a varied selection, but a good amount of displays needed to assist in making the right choice. Most importantly, Luke and Ian were professional, friendly and worked with us to get the stone as quickly as possible and utilizing the appropriate discounts (through our contractor.) We have used them with our last house and would certainly return to them for future projects.

They have a nice showroom, but horrible customer service. Perhaps with an easy project, or a simple replacement, they might be good, but we were looking for a complete redesign of our fireplace area in our living room. They person who did the estimate was inflexible with regard to setting up a time to meet. Monday - Friday in the mornings is difficult for people who work. When he did come out, he couldn't have cared less about our project. Not being the fireplace and stone experts, we were looking for ideas to help with our redesign. Their estimate was significantly higher than the contractor we went with, and included less. We are extremely happy with our final result and glad that we did not select Brighton Stone and Fireplace.

Brighton Stone was professional from the first phone to Joel, to the visit to the store and all the way through the finishing touches with the pillar ledges and steps. The crew that came out to install the stone was very accountable. They worked very hard every day and were very experienced. We will definitely be hiring them again for other work we have planned.
