“We hired JR Pavers to resurface our 1,500 sf pool deck. They turned a dismal concrete slab into our own backyard oasis! For this reason, and the ones listed below, we are very happy to give them our highest recommendation. Customer Service: Lindsay from JR Paving was quick to respond to our initial inquiry. She promptly came to our house, took accurate measurements, answered all of our questions, then provided us with an accurate quote. Scheduling: Materials for the job were ordered on the day we approved the proposal. They were delivered on time and the work started on schedule. The entire job was finished earlier than we expected. Quality of Work: Carlos and his crew displayed an attention to details so often lacking in many of today’s contractors. They took painstaking efforts to make sure the patio had the right pitch and drained correctly. Intricate cuts were made to ensure the paving stones wrapped neatly around support columns, drain grates, and electrical equipment. “Craftsmanship” is not a term often used today but it best describes JR Pavers’ performance. Cleanliness/Respect for Personal Property: The crew from JR Pavers staged their equipment and materials so neither would be in our way or damage our personal property. They cleaned up after themselves and left our home in as good a shape as they found it. Conclusion: Every aspect of JR Pavers was a pleasure to deal with. “The travertine stone was uniform thickness, big plus. Stone was shipped correctly, no broken tiles. I identified only 4 tiles out of about 93 that couldn't be fully used due to a seam that ran through the tile from back to face, but they were still useful for half tile use (corners, edges, etc). The stone is very beautiful and the color tone of each tile was within an acceptable color tone range based on the samples we were sent. I've read reviews of other suppliers which customers received up to three different color tones. Jay was good to work with, he sent samples after my first inquiry, which helped a lot. Overall communication was good, from inquiry to ordering to shipment status. Note : my project cost is for tile, not entire project.”

“I have had considerable experience in landscape design and hardscape construction over for 40 years. When it was time to upgrade our home in Port Charlotte, I spent several months meeting with 7 paver installers. Trudi, from Preferred Pavers & Concrete impressed me with her broad knowledge of all 3 projects 1 wanted, replace concrete driveway and front walk, remodel pavers for our pool area and a new patio with walls and a fire pit. The fact that they are nationally certified clinched the deal! I could not be more pleased with the results. Their attention to detail is beyond compare. I witnessed , Jose, one of their men fit 3 different pool coping pavers in 1 spot until he was satisfied with the fit and color. I give them 5 stars!”

“Safe Dry not only had to grind and polish almost 1200 ft of terrazzo floors and epoxy a screened porch floor...they also had to repair the work done by a previously hired contractor who messed up the job. I cannot say enough good things about Joe Martin and Safe Dry Floors. They were punctual, professional, knowledgeable and followed through on their promise to have the job done within two days. (The contractor I previously hired said the job would take five days...and they even failed to complete the job to my satisfaction within 7 days.) My terrazzo floors are almost 55 years old. They will never look 'brand new'. However the floors look 100% better than they did! I highly recommend Joe Martin and the Safe Dry team for your terrazzo floor needs.”
