“We have used M&C Landscaping for replacing front steps as well as entire large driveway in Cornelius. After getting 4 estimates, I contacted a neighbor to asked who did his driveway which was M&C. The estimates varied by more than $6000 dollars. The Owner, Maynor, said initially that he wouldn't be the highest priced contractor nor the lowest. As it turned out, he was the second lowest and more than that, his process for replacing the driveway exceeded all the other quotes which meant his base for the driveway was deeper after removing the existing concrete and the layers of materials used exceeded all others quotes. Pedro, his lead contractor, set the pitch for drainage and laid EVERY paver with the help of 4 others, The crew was polite, friendly, and cleaned up perfectly each day. The processor 5 days. I provided drinks and donuts as they worked in the heat of the summer last year. Maynor provided a huge list of references and we were able to see his workmanship prior to signing on. This month he put in water drainage systems to stop the shoreline erosion which was occurring above my lakefront walkway. He also replaced my pine needles with rich brown mulch and he and his company highly recommended.”

“Stoney did our back patio pavers in a pattern uniquely bordered not only by the paver, but also by a retainer block which included diamond cut pieces of the pavers to complete the transition. Everybody absolutely falls in love with the beauty and craftsmanship of the design. Stoney's group not only came in on time/budget, but provided a much fairer price than the competition and I received quotes from several other companies. He also ensured proper drainage by installing an elaborate french system at the top and bottom of the patio that connects and drains away the pavers and walkway. I would highly recommend hiring Stoney! You won't find a better person to do the job!”

“The small back garden, which slopes downward along the width of the house, was bare. I had regraded it myself by hand and envisioned a terrace in the lower section. Marc surveyed the property and suggested steps, echoing those of the tiny back porch, coming down to the terrace area. Although he designed and scoped steps, a terrace/patio, and a retaining wall, I ended up hiring him for the steps only. His plan was exquisite but not within my reach. He added a landing area at the base of the steps. Exquisite, solid, functional, lovely, and entirely characteristic of his workmanship.”
