NO SHOW. Mr. Luna is obviously qualified however - when he came to give me an estimate, I liked him and his suggestions and we agreed on a price and a day.. Then the the weather did not co-operate and so we had to put it off. Finally, this past Saturday, when he SAID he was coming to do the work, NO SHOW - no returned phone calls even from the day before to confirm and even the morning of - nothing - no call to apologize - nothing. I guess my job of extending my front stoop.was too small. So why did he not at least have the courtesy to let me know? Actually, I am sad about this as I feel the work would have been solid. But the discourtesy I just cannot recommend him.

We recently hired Jesse and his crew to do a fairly small job for our back patio. It was a 10x15 foot pad that we had natural stone walls and caps put in. Not only was JL very affordable but their work and communication was outstanding. We live in the Humble area and I highly recommend using Jesse and his team for any masonry work that you have. Jesse also has a lot of contacts in other areas of expertise that he can recommend. Jesse is a real straight forward guy and everything was 5 stars. From the quote, communication, and execution my wife and I were very happy.

This contractor is very honest and a hard worker. He is very detailed with his work. I would highly recommend him for your job.

Jesse is absolutely the best. I had some stone work done by someone else and was not pleased with the result, so I called Jesse to fix the problems. He was very timely, professional and conservative with what needed to be done. Before I spoke with Jesse, I was ready to re-do all or most of the stone but Jesse instead fixed and replaced only some of it, with the result being beautiful workmanship at a reasonable cost to me. I had to wait a little bit for Jesse to be available , but the wait was well worth it. Thanks, Jesse. My stone is super nice now!

I chose Jesse after meeting him and discussing our project (ample custom outdoor kitchen) and liking his genuine interest in helping me create something a little different and special. Jesse is nothing short of a perfectionist, has a creative eye and patience to work with you on all the details. Jesse came highly recommended when we were looking for someone to install paver stone flooring for our outdoor patio. He did not disappoint. For personal reasons, we decided to do only the patio floor and not the outdoor kitchen. His service level or commitment did not change, even though the project scope became significantly smaller. He and his crew were always on time, professional and cleaned up after each workday. After the project was done, he followed up and ensured that we were happy and that he met our expectations. He also helped us install an outdoor patio fan and roller shades, when he came out for a follow up after the project was done. I would recommend JL Masonry for any type of outdoor masonry/stone work.
