About Us

Joseph Acchione & Son Construction Co Inc is a locally owned company providing masonry restoration and preservation services to residential, commercial, and historical buildings. Ross has been in the masonry trade for over 30 years and has built a reputation for excellence and perfection. He grew up working alongside his father and received his civil engineering and construction management degrees from Temple University. Ross prides himself on customer satisfaction. It is his goal to establish long-term relationships with both homeowners and trade professionals through open lines of communication. Due to the permanent nature of masonry projects Ross feels it is especially important to guide his clients and collaborations from making any decisions they may later regret. Jos. Acchione & Son Construction especially excels at seamless matching of new build projects to existing elements. We have completed many restoration, renovation and addition projects to homes along the historic Main Line and Delancey Street of Philadelphia. Acchione Const. has completed several projects on our house. - Foundation and masonry contractor on a major renovation of the house. Including pouring a new addition foundation, new stucco work and stucco repairs to parts of to the existing house. - Built new front steps for the house that matched the existing 100-year old stonework perfectly. It looks like it has always been there - He re-pointed the stonework, as needed, to match the original ribbon pointing on the house. Ross Acchione is responsive, creative, detail-oriented, capable and cares. Ross and Acchione Const. is one of the very few contractors that I can recommend whole-heartedly. Your project, large or small will be in good hands.

The first project involved the repair of old brownstone steps in accordance with the requirements of the city's historical commission. The second project involved the repair of my brick sidewalk after we had to replace our sewer line. Both jobs were completed on time and within budget. I have worked with Ross and his team for more than ten years. Ross, a second-generation stone mason, built a wall against my 90-year-old stone house so that you would never know the wall was brand new. The stone was matched and blended perfectly. He had some ideas for the garage we were also constructing that vastly improved its whole look.. He even had very specific ideas about what kinds of pebbles to use in our driveway. Ross is an artist,. He has used his artistic vision for the big jobs, but also for the little ones. He has an unerring eye for detail and color. And he is completely professional. He shows up when he promises, he completes his jobs on time, and he estimates accurately. He's terrific!
