“Ellis, Inc. completed my new home in 3 months and fulfilled every one of my design and functional goals. The requirement for a well-insulated, energy efficient house is evident by the HERS score of 41, and a Air exchange test of 1.51. This was because of the foam insulation providing a water and air-tight barrier from beneath the foundation to the peak professionally installed by their in-house contractor. All windows are triple-glazed and an air-exchange system provides humidity and air quality control. The modular house base included energy star 3.0 features and allowed the house to be completely set on the foundation and 'weather-tight' in 12 hours! No part of this house (except the exterior) has ever been exposed to rain or weather. The quality of the workmanship is superb, with many flaws being handled before I could even note them. The coordination and teamwork between the contractors and the Ellis team worked smoothly and efficiently. All of my wishes were discussed and I was included in all aspects of the decision process to provide the most cost effective solution. This wasn't easy as I was not able to be on-site until the construction started, but the communication functioned perfectly.”
