About Us

*Belgard Authorized Contractor* NeSmith Landscapes is locally owned and operated by Jerry NeSmith II. Our company offers a wide range of professional outdoor services ranging from landscape design, outdoor lighting, irrigation, hardscapes (retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, driveways, fire pits) and sub-surface drainage. Many landscape companies can design a basic landscape; however we aim to set apart from most others. Our attention to detail is what sets us apart. NeSmith Landscapes has been landscaping Tallahassee and surrounding area, residential and commercial, for almost 15 years. In 2009, we received an Honorable Mention for "Best of Tallahassee" by Tallahassee Magazine. We recognize that each client is unique and we take pleasure in designing and creating the perfect landscape for each situation, with attention to cost, maintenance and timeframe.

Had to have NeSmith fix a botched job done by someone else. Not a small or easy job but NeSmith did an amazing job. Let the Professionals do the Professional work and NeSmith is as Professional as they come. I would only recommend NeSmith for Hardscapes and landscaping projects.

We consulted Jerry NeSmith with a long-standing drainage issue on a steep slope. He turned what could have been merely a functional solution, into a stunningly beautiful landscape feature, which looks like a North Carolina dry stream-bed on a hillside. We included many landscaping upgrades at the same time and are so glad we did. The setting for our house now looks charming during the day, and, lit at night, it's magical! Excellent company. Jerry gave us an estimate and stuck to it. His workers were efficient and hard working. They were also neat and cleaned up the area very well once the project was completed. Throughout the process, Jerry kept us informed as to the progress and what to expect. The pavers look great and we are very pleased. We don't take recommending businesses lightly, but we have no hesitation in recommending NeSmith Landscaping. We're planning another project later this year and will be giving Jerry another call.

I contracted with Nesmith Landscapes to build my patio and pergola as well as incorporating privacy around my fence lines to block out view of neighbors. I was out of town when the work was under constructed. I returned home to an absolutely beautiful patio, pergola,landscaping including new trees and a side walk and patio block area for trash can area. It is absolutely beautiful. It doesn't even look like construction took place. It is amazingly clean. My home looks like this area and landscaping was a part of the home before any construction started. I highly recommend Nesmith Landsaping to everyone!!!!!

I hired NeSmith landscaping to help with the drainage issues I was having in my backyard. My yard is in a low lying area of the neighborhood and during a heavy rain would flood, leaving water a few feet deep in some areas. NeSmith landscaping came and had several solutions that would help the flow of water out of my yard, but that would also give me a picturesque backyard for my three children to enjoy. They were easy to work with, professional, knowledgeable, and most of all their work was unbelievable. I would recommend NeSmith Lanscaping for your drainage solution needs.
