Nicolock Paving Stones and Retaining Walls

Ordered nicolock pavers for a project. Almost 50% of material came broken from the factory. Sales guy told me they would have new ones made today and delivered to site tomorrow. They have now said late the following week at 4 the day before the pavers are supposed to be on site. I have a half done project i cant finish, or get paid for and a crew that has wasted 2 days now. They are costing me time and money. Won't be purchasing from them again.

bought some natural cleft flagstone pavers , 85% of order was destroyed and defective not by delivery , but color defects that was beyond just an eye soar. i have been waitng for a response for weeks. the rep told me they may not do anything about it they told me it was natural and would go away in maybe a year would you put this on your patio???

This is only a review of the quality of the stone not the installer. I had to get a 2nd shipment in after the use of my original purchase was laid down. The quality of the 2nd shipment was Very substandard. Not of equal sizing causing my wall to now have dips and spacing in places. Also a lot of chipping these stones create. The 2nd shipment was ordered, produced and sent directly to the supplier I purchased from. Due to this I would not recommend to anyone to use.

I am only reviewing Nicolock Paving Stones and Retaining Walls, not this contractor or any contractor. I did not use this contractor but am giving a Nicolock product review based on my own experience. The treads and caps are crumbling after only 5 months. Nicolock sent a rep who came out and admitted it is their fault and offered to replace about a quarter of the caps and threads that I purchased. They all show signs that they are going to all crumble. You can break them off with your bare hands! The rep commended my contractor for an excellent installation job. They refuse to pay any labor costs for their clearly and by their own admission defective product so they don't stand behind their product. What a disappointment! This company admitted they have had bigger problems than this, so what does that say? I told the rep that I wished I heard about that before. I have been promised by Nicolock that they would send a sales manager out and after months and two promises have yet to hear from anyone. They tell you all this on the inside page of the front cover of their catalog so read it carefully and beware that they mean it. They will not back their product up beyond exactly what is in writing and their product is from the photos I have and from their own inspection, a defective product that will cost me a fortune to correct.
