“I cannot speak highly enough about Juan Martinez and his crew from AGS Hardscapes. I sought their services for addressing drainage and hardscape issues in our yard and they did a masterful job. Juan was very responsive from the very beginning to the very end of the project and I have never seen a team work so hard. We had had a terrible erosion issue which resulted in a river in our backyard every time there was a heavy storm and highly exposed tree roots on the side of our house. We now have an integrated drainage system which collects water from our downspouts as well as runoff from our driveway and from our uphill neighbors and directs it away from our house and yard and a soil and mulch path over the tree roots. We also had had a horrible brick "patio" under our deck which had eroded, was a complete eyesore, uneven, terribly slippery, and an injury and lawsuit waiting to happen. We dodged a bullet! They completely removed all the uneven brick and other debris and prepared the area such that most of the deck support footings and air conditioner pads are level and seamlessly integrated into the new concrete. The new area is a smooth concrete slab which slopes gently up to our doorways and directs water from the deck above away from the house and toward one of the catch basins. I am delighted with how it all turned out and I will certainly be calling Juan for future projects!”

“At every step of the process, Ray and his team clearly knew what they were doing. Ray was up front about the risks and cost of replacing half the driveway that was sinking, and gave us a great rate on the whole driveway and walkway. In talking with others, his quote was significantly less and far better quality. The team was able to complete tear out in one day and have the driveway completed the next day. They added proper drainage and crusher run, created a side curb to channel water, and added a 4' retaining wall in the back. The finish was far better than I expected. There were other ways they provided far better quality than other companies. They used fiber concrete with a far greater strength than standard driveway specs (4-5" 4,000 psi with monofilament fiber), added rebar to the area where we had the greatest drop in the original driveway, added additional expansion breaks, and picture framed each section. I can't recommend this team enough. 2020 sq ft for less than $15,000. Other quotes were over $20K.”
