We receive a magazine called The Home Mag. This is where we saw RIck’s ad. When we initially spoke with Rick about getting a stone accent wall mount with fireplace and floating shelves. he told us he was about 1 month out but wanted to schedule us , basically put us in line. Rick called us about once a week to let us know what was happening and when he could possibly start the job, he stayed in constant contact, which was great. When he started the job the contractor Antonio was on time, very friendly and respectful. They finished on time and It was amazing. I would recommend Stone Design for all stone work, bbq install pretty much anything to do with stone. they are well worth the wait. Thank you so much.

Initially we hired Stone Designs to install stone over our existing fireplace, but ended up having them installing stone on our great room walls, dining room walls, kitchen walls, bathrooms, and hallways because we were so pleased with their work and professionalism. In addition, they built us a beautiful stone barbeque and tiled our patio floor. Rick offered us creative ideas and suggestions. We highly recommend them. A very satisfied customer.

I was referred to Rick Cole Stone Designs from a highly respected builder in town and I was thrilled with his work. He completed projects that another GC started to slack off on. He built a large garden and barbecue which was finished exactly as I wanted. It was functional and beautiful with quality craftsmanship. I was often complemented on the outdoor kitchen he completed. He was always punctual, available,courteous and professional and all of his workers were as well. I will vouch for him that he's truthful and hard-working with good ideas to help get the project done in a timely manner and done correctly. I highly recommend him.

Painful, painful, painful. I started looking in December 2015, signed with him in March 2016. It took 3 weeks to get the stone and was told it would be installed within a week to a week and a half. Everything was going fine until he ran out of stone because he measured incorrectly. Whatever, I ordered the remaining stone, had to wait another 3 weeks. They came out and started on it again. When I got home only 2/3 of what remained was done. Guess what? He didn't measure to see how much he needed to finish, he guessed. Sooo when I complained, he said he would pay for the remaining rock and get it finished ASAP. Well that was on April 27th. He ordered the rock but never paid for it so the order was cancelled. Then the promises of I'm so sorry came pouring in! I'm going to order it next week.... Guess what... Didn't happen. I'm sorry! 20 excuses again... I'm ordering it on Wednesday I promise! Guess what!? Yup, no stone was ordered. Called the contractor's board. He said he will have it ordered by the 30th of June. I'm not holding my breath! I'm flabbergasted at the lack of ownership and the endless excuses that we have had to put up with. Here we are still waiting 3-4 months to have a couple hundred sqft of stone veneer put on. I just don't want to have to go to court with a contractor again, but if I have to I will... Contractors need to keep their word and live up to expectations that they sold the customer. I will update status on June 30th!
