“I am very fussy in my choice of contractors to work for me. Always my first requirement is competency and the second is a fair price for the work to be done. I am happy to report that Stauersbol Masonry and Construction INC. exceeded my expectations in every way. My project involved the demolition of an existing beehive fireplace in my great room and the construction of a new unit which could provide real heat in the house on cold winter days. The existing fireplace consisted of a small metal box with a glass cover in front which burned propane. Its cheery little flame provided some atmosphere of a fireplace but almost no heat. The entire unit had to be torn out right down to the studs of the room. Then a new unit consisting of concrete, cement block and brick was constructed in its place. It was obvious as I watched the construction that Soren had considerable experience in this endeavor. I am confident that the construction is of the finest quality and meets or exceeds all building codes. I had several ideas regarding outside features; we spent a large amount of time discussing these, some he incorporated, with others he explained the downsides and why they may not be good. I short, I found Soren very easy to work with and very receptive to my ideas. Soren always kept me informed as to when he would be on the job and when he would leave. He projected ahead of time that the project would take seven and a half days. It took exactly seven and a half days to completion. The work area was always kept neat and clean. Dust containment curtains were installed before work began and the work site was meticulously cleaned after the job was complete. In summary, Stauersbol Masonry is one of the finest companies I have worked with; the personnel are competent, clean and easy to work with. For both quality and price, you would be well served by this company.”

“The crew at Architectural Stone Concepts did a beautiful job of transforming my builder fireplace into the beautiful stone fireplace that I envisioned. The hard part was waiting for the stone to arrive after I had contracted them for the job. However once the stone became available, the job only took about 3 or 4 days from start to finish. Kudos to the guys for the care they took in prepping my home to minimize dust during the demolition of my old fireplace, and the subsequent cleanup after they finished the job!
