“David Bartsch and I have worked on numerous projects together on Nantucket Island, he as the Landscape Architect and my company Nicholas Ferrantella Landscaping performing the landscape installations and maintenance. Founded in 1980, we have worked with many architects in the 33 years and David Bartsch is our favorite. His design of a small park on Nantucket Island for Nantucket’s Land Bank is brilliant and "Fair in the Main" has become a favorite place for people to stop and enjoy the peaceful garden and granite fountain. My husband and I are both architects and we had been trying to design the landscape for our home in the heart of historic Lexington MA. for a year. When we asked Melissa to help us, she promptly delivered a design that was sensitive to the traditional setting of Lexington's historic district and satisfied our spatial requests. The hard-scape is elegant and we have been enjoying the sequence of blooming plants since May. I am thrilled with Melissa's design and with her service. She worked seamlessly with the contractor who highly respected her expertise. I am happy to write this review because I have been recommending her to my clients and to my friends who have been admiring her work as well.”

“CCHLD turned my dirt yard into a gravel parking lot and pathway to the front door. They did a beautiful with that. Then they turned my weedy, sloping backyard into a three tired, rock wall, garden. There is a firepit and patio at the bottom. They did everything we talked about, within my budget, and it is beautiful. Thanks Chuck and crew for a job well done. “I would highly recommend Kris for any landscape design project. We have a tricky sloped backyard. He created a beautiful and well thought out design incorporating both plant design and hardscaping. He was professional, fast, and very accommodating for specific requests and changes during the design process. Plus he knows a great deal about plants and how they will grow and look together depending on the look you want. My favorite thing is he has a community of the actual working landscapers who he happily recommends once you are ready to execute his designs. You can’t go wrong choosing Kris for your project.”

“Outstanding. Robbi is a highly regarded professional, by homeowners like ourselves and the other companies (architects, builders, landscape companies), with whom she works. In fact, we researched Robbi and her company, as we watched another property in the area undergo its "transformation" by Woodburn and Company. This property is a showpiece in our community and we liked what we saw happening - and hired her. Unlike many landscape architects, Robbi listens. She listens very closely and then translates her client's vision masterfully! She is always on top of budgets, always stays connected and communicates at the highest level. She asks questions that her clients may not think to ask...exploring the pros and cons of any and all ideas. “Description Of Work: The Narrow Lane, through Ron Goode, it's owner/operator and his team, performed various services for us, including 3 new paver walkways with cobblestone lining them, a new driveway, new sod in the front, new side and back lawns, new plantings, new retaining walls, two tree removals, large overgrown shrub removals, planting of several new trees and other plants, as well as fertilizing, leaf removal/Spring cleanup and some general landscape maintenance. Comments: It went great! Our main design and construction work required every part of our yard to be torn up, excavated, or otherwise touched with a shovel, mini-excavator, or other tool/piece of machinery and Ron worked hard to ensure that the disruptions to my family were minimal. He also listened to each request, made recommendations based on our budget, worked hard to get the estimate within our budget, and has produced a product that every neighbor has complemented! We love how it all turned out and have had several people ask if it is a new house! I highly recommend The Narrow Lane for not only landscape design and construction, but also maintenance. Ron will work hard to ensure that he gives you exactly what you want in a budget you can be happy with.”

“The Ream Design team was outstanding in all aspects of the project. They took the time to understand our tastes and needs, and created detailed site plans They listened to our feedback and worked to create plans that we felt comfortable with, guiding us along the way in a constructive manner. We we signed the dotted line they brought in a large crew with the necessary tools. The plants they furnished were top notch. They took care to plant carefully, clean up every day, and to not damage any of the surroundings. If there was a problem they took case of it. No problem was too small. They then guided us during the critical first year when the landscape developed. They took obvious pride in their work and we ended up with a top notch landscape that gets better every year. We were completely satisfied with their work.”
