Terrible, made many mistakes along the way and once they were paid could not be found. Terrible hand over. Gave me no support after pool was built. Still dealing with many issues stay away.

I am updating this review to a 3 star rating, since they promise to fix the issue.

These people are true professionals. At one point our yard looked like a war zone, but it was well worth it. The finished product is like a dream come true. I highly recommend this company if you are in the market to put in a pool.

Blue Haven did an amazing job with our pool! It turned out beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Professional and great communication throughout the process. Even showed up on weekends to get the job done. Thank you to Anthony and his team!

Inground Gunite pool. Excavation started late September 2022 and pool was ready for finishing plaster by late October. Concrete Deck was in by early November. At this point we decided it makes more sense to winterize it now and apply plaster in the spring to insure it gets a full 30 days above freezing to cure. Made sense to me since it was too cold to swim in NJ anyway. They were back out in early May...completed the plaster in 1 day, and we were swimming in early June. Could have swam in May but the temps were still too cold here. Very happy with the overall timing as well as the end product.

Do yourself a favor and do your research on this location. Seems like Blue Haven Pools is a good program but not supported well by this local dealer. They subcontract all stages and the companies are not all good experiences. The sales person Dominic is unresponsive, takes multiple emails for one answer and misleads you with false expectations of when the project will be finished. The project manager Jeff does not answer any emails, does not return any calls and does not actually show up to the job unless he does and doesn't introduce himself. The job site is left a mess and not properly protected against possible accidents. The biggest issue is the lack of communication. Seems like they don't care about the customer experience once you sign the contract. Many different customers experience the same thing. Must be the culture on how they do business.

It was great to use them. Had pool coping, tile and RE-plaster done. Looks great. Would recommend if looking to update your pool.

Terrible experience, do not use this company. Terrible communication and service. Told us one thing but then hit us up with multiple major expenses not discussed. Look elsewhere.

I’m going out of my way to warn everyone on every website I can find about this company. The communication was horrific, they subbed the job out to a company who had a man sleeping in his work van outside my house. The pool job was done poorly and no one from blue haven will come review the work that was done or get back to us. I took a day off and no one showed up. I was told that they are “busy”. It’s odd they don’thave time now but had the time to get out for a project estimate within 2 days.

We recently had an in ground pool installed by Blue Haven Pools by Calvitti. We are extremely happy with our new pool….it’s absolutely beautiful! They started our pool early June 2021 and completed it in mid August 2021. Frankie from Blue Haven came out first to stake the pool for excavation. He was the first person we met on the construction end of things and he was extremely nice and made sure we were happy with the pool layout. Each and every employee and contractor that came out for Blue Haven during the entire pool install process did an amazing job and were extremely professional. Blue Haven recommended a contractor for our pool decking (John Dubyk) who also did an amazing job. In the beginning of our pool project we had some concerns with the placement of our pool equipment because of our townships variance rules. The owner Ray personally came to our home, not once but twice to set our minds at ease and to figure out a resolution for us. Throughout the entire process of installing our pool, Eileen, Kathy and MaryLou from their office were very patient and understanding of my many phone calls/emails/questions…and I had a lot! We were extremely nervous about having an in ground swimming pool installed as it’s a huge undertaking but Blue Haven Pools by Calvitti did an amazing job throughout the entire process!! I would highly recommend.

Went with Blue Haven because it was family owned and reviews were strong. Unfortunately the experience has been horrible. The worst part has been the terrible customer service and communication. That alone would make us not recommend Blue Haven to anyone. We have been patient and understanding of supply challenges, contractor shortages, and the impact from COVID-19 however communicating delays when we were told to expect work to be done on specific days and no one shows up, or only completes some of the work, is basic customer service. The quality of the work has been mixed and a number of the contractors Blue Haven used for the project have been less than impressive. One ran over a tree (not the tree removal company), the excavating crew left scrap plywood in the front yard, and many left plastic water bottles discarded through the work area. We were scheduled to have final inspection then had to cancel as the pool start-up company realized Blue Haven hadn't finished installing all the pool equipment! They removed their sign when the plaster crew left and never informed us a part was still missing. At one point we were told we were ahead of schedule because we are listed as VIPs. Save yourself the frustration and choose another pool company!
