When a design client of mine, in Mt. Pleasant, asked for my recommendation for a local pool builder that I would trust to implement my design, I consulted several resources. I first went to colleagues and vendors, for their input, and then went straight to Houzz, to do additional research. After all signs pointed to Josh, and Atkinson Aquatech Pools, I conducted a brief phone interview with Josh, before offering my final recommendation to my client. Josh asked all the right questions, and gave all the answers I was looking for, so I gave him a very strong recommendation. Soon after, I flew out to do a site visit and meet with Josh and my client. That visit cemented my confidence in Josh, and gave me great confidence that my client would be well taken care of. Through the power of technology (and a client with 24-hour security cameras) I was able to keep an eye on construction progress from my office in Dallas, and was quite impressed with the work I saw happening at each phase of construction. I fly out in a couple of weeks, to see the finished project in person, but from the photos I've seen, and the response of my client, Josh and his team did an absolutely fantastic job. Throughout the process, he was a joy to work with. His level of knowledge, his skill, and his execution are all on point, and I will recommend him without hesitation in the future!

We had a great experience with Atkinson's Aquatech Pools and Spas. They did a fabulous job and we love our pool and spa.

I have had two appointments with Atkinson in which no one showed up. The first time I called when no one had showed up after 30 minutes and the secretary had written the wrong day down. WIthin an hour a tech was out at the house. The second time that no one showed the secretary/receptionist had no record of the appointment and was very rude on the phone. I would not use them or recommend them because you can't actually get them to come out to the house.
