Premier Pools & Spas

We started our pool and coordinating hardscape & landscape in August and here it is April and our project is still not complete. The design process with Jodi went well and the first few months we were pleased. If we had been asked to write a review in October it would have been 5 stars. However, the last couple of months have been the most frustrating encounter with any contractor we have ever had! We have owned 6 homes and each one we completely remodel, so we have dealt with quite a few contractors. Very poor communication - we have to ask for updates othwerwise none is given. Even when you ask for an update and a timeframe, you do not get a response or get a "canned" answer like "We will check on it" or "We put in a work order". Seems like the only time you hear from them is when they are wanting check. We have been waiting on an amended permit for a fireplace that was never added to the original fireplace. We cannot get final inspection and yet the inspector told them in December during the pre-plaster inspection it needed to be done. It should have been handled before the inspector even said it but still here it is 4 months later and still nothing. We have a Pebbletec repair that we have been waiting on since January. Getting the outdoor BBQ complete was like pulling teeth! Keep in mind they charge a premium on these other items like fireplace, BBQs, etc. of about 20% which we paid to "streamline" the process. It has been anything but streamlined! Our backyard looks great and pool looks good but their customer service is terrible.

We Contracted in July 25, 2018 all excited for our new back yard. Start date after permitting was September 19, 2018 and competition of work was to be 12 weeks (approximately December 19, 2018). As of today, April 28 2019 (some 4 months later) project is still incomplete! We have had and still continue to have numerous problems with the Quality of Workmanship, Lack of Supervision and Construction Knowledge of Superintendents, not to mention Product Failures. Did I mention that the Owner Reed could not be bothered to even come check out the problems after so called remedying them! Despite numerous opportunities and attempts to get this right, and after submitting multiple proposals from outside Contractors to Reed the Owner to correct issues, Reed gave his original subcontractors multiple opportunity to correct issues and they in turn, have failed to do so. The worst part is that Reed could not be cared nor take the time to come out again and actually see for himself what is going on. As of now, we have a backyard that in a photo may look "pretty" but when you take a closer look, has product failures and an outstanding punch list that for any reputable Company who takes pride in their work, could literally complete in a timorously fashion if they gave a darn. Premier Pools & Spas (Orange County Pool Construction Inc.) unfortunately is NOT one of those Companies. They have our money less a minuscule retention so for them its on to the "NEW PROJECTS".... What was a dream backyard for my wife and I, a project that should have been fun and rewarding not to mention spending the amount of money we have, has turned into our biggest nightmare. PLEASE do not Contract with this Company, put your hard earned money elsewhere so you don't have the same experiences.

I went through multiple project managers as they kept rotating their staff. I enjoy my pool greatly now, but it certainly was not an easy journey. From being hostage to sub-contractors wanting more money to having additional requirements added (that resulted in $20,000 more in cost), I would not recommend this company at all.

It takes a lot more time to get the proyect done of what they said and you have to be very pasión ..!

This is a great company to work with. They were very helpful and responsive when communication was needed. Would definitely use them again.

I did not have a good experience with this company. Went through 3 project managers because some of them quit the company. It was 22 weeks for the build when the standard 12 weeks was promised. The pebble tech was not done right and I had to drain the pool months later for them to fix it. I had to correct many errors during the build like the wrong tile being ordered.

My wife and I are very pleased with our new pool. Premier Pools and Spas exceeded our expectations and we had a very positive experience with their team. They are courteous, knowledgeable, diligent, and professional. I did a great deal of research and obtained 4 bids for the project. Each bid was carefully evaluated and we found Premier Pools and Spas bid to be the most complete, competitive and thorough. I highly recommend Premier Pools and Spas.

Premier is top notch in every way. They are very easy to work with, and kept me informed through the entire process. The quality of work speaks for itself. They came highly recommended to me and I also highly recommend them to others.

This is a very professional company. Very clean throughout the entire process. My supervisor Blake was extremely helpful and kept me informed every step of the way. The quality of work exceeded my expectations and am very happy I chose to go with them for my entire outdoor living space.

Our project manager, Blake, had excellent communication skills- always updating us on the scheduling of events. Premire Pools has been so easy to work with! My wife convinced me that we needed a pool and I wasn’t sure if someone could design everything we needed AND stay within budget. I was way wrong. Charlie Pastick is the best! He is always available to talk and I we are in great hands.
