“We hired this company in 1991 to custom build our 3200 square foot home. This is a family owned business and at that time was owned and operated by Mike Ritzman's mom and dad. They were terrific. They were on time, they were pleasant and they even returned some of our money. In the ensuing years I have had them remodel a rental property I have, plus a $30,000 repair when a large tree fell onto the roof. A couple of years ago I had them build a custom garage of about 1550 feet. This is the $50,000 - $100,000 listed in this review. Once again they did it on time and on budget. I wouldn't go anywhere else for work, whether new construction or a remodel.”

“We just completed a major 6 month remodel with Ventana, including the addition of a master bedroom/bathroom/closet, a guest bedroom, a new kitchen, and a makeover of our living room/dining room. Sixty percent of our house is completely new! We have utilized various contractors over the years, and working with Ventana was a complete pleasure. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding, the crew and subs were courteous and thorough, the communications were prompt and clear, the invoices were detailed and easy to understand, and Ventana constantly collaborated with us on ways to make the project better than planned. We think of Anne and Clarence as friends, and we would recommend them to anyone interested is high-quality work.”

“Reg Willing and his team at Urban Restoration did an amazing job on our kitchen and bathroom remodel. He completed the project on time, stayed on budget and was a pleasure to work with. As it was my first experience with a remodel he talked me through the planning and gave me a detailed schedule of the work to be done including the timeline. His employees were easy to have in my home. Based on our first experience, we decided to hire Urban Restoration again when we wanted to remodel our backyard deck and again we were totally satisfied. We will continue to use Reg Willing and Urban Restoration for any future home projects.”

“We used Scott Homes to design and build a 5 bedroom house on the Washington Coast. The house is used both as a vacation rental and as a family vacation spot. There were several requirements that needed to be met, and Scott Homes met all of them with ease. One of those was it needed to be a green building and they are experts in using SIPS panels which give the house a great feel. They are also really good people, honest and helpful. I loved how they allowed us complete say where we wanted it in coming up with design & hammering out details, but offered ideas/experience where we needed it, also offering wonderful subcontractors and suppliers. They stayed exactly on target from a time and budget standpoint. I would recommend them highly.”

“Dovetail built our home in Seattle. This was the first time we ever built a home and it was a great experience. They helped us understand the cost implications of our choices and worked with us to get our pricing to our target budget prior to starting the project. Dovetail's spreadsheets and weekly updates, helped us track our budget to keep it on track. The admin part was great..... The CREW - they were fabulous!!! We were able to come by the site almost every day for a status update and to tweak any changes or answer any questions. Their ability to communicate any issues as they arose, allowed us to make quick decisions, not losing any time to delays. AS a result they completed the project on time and within budget!!!!!!!!! They used subcontractors that they have longstanding relationships with so they were able to execute the job in a timely and very professional manner. The quality of work was of the highest levels. Their cabinet shop did all of our cabinets and closets which is beautiful. They had never worked with our architect, Prentiss, but they were able to execute to plan and work out any issues quickly and easily. WE had a very complicated house with tricky components that they executed very well. Warranty - can't say enough about their after completion work. A couple of things have developed as a result of summer and winter expansions/contractions. I would make a call and they would be here to fix it at no charge within a day of the phone call. Their service is terrific! I am including pictures of the house while it was under construction so you can see how they put some things together. So if you want a company that does High quality, beautiful, on time and on budget work - call Dovetail!!!!”

“Joe did a complete remodel of our kitchen, which is amazing, added a bedroom to the house above the kitchen , matching the style of the mouse perfectly, remodeled our master bath and completely rebuilt our fireplace - including moving it out from the wall and installing gas. Our house us amazing. Fabulous to work with. I would like to submit photos but do not see that as an option...”
