“Walker Properties just completed a fantastic remodel of our Jack/Jill restroom. From the initial meeting, Josh Walker was very helpful in guiding me to what would be most beneficial to the project and had several suggestions that saved us a lot of money and time. Josh was very straightforward with his estimate and broke things down in case we decided to do the project in stages. His crew was very meticulous, respectful of our time and home, and very accommodating when I decided to add something in mid-remodel(extra painting). The job was completed in less than two weeks and it is beautiful and everything I asked for and more. I HIGHLY recommend Walker Properties and will definitely use them again in the future.”

“Mike Blake Custom Homes was highly recommended by my architect. When it came to building our dream home, my wife and I were very picky. I had heard horror stories from others that had built custom homes that "you and your builder will hate each other by the time your house is finished". After hearing that, I was concerned that I would have to compromise a lot on my thoughts and ideas for the house and on the overall quality that I would likely be demanding. Turns out there was no reason to feel that way. Quality was never an issue. I thought I would have to be present nearly every day to oversee things to be sure they were done right but I soon realized that was not necessary. They had things well under control without me and it was a big relief knowing that things would be done right. I can honestly say that my wife and I have actually become closer and better friends with Mike and Kim than we were before we built. In fact, we have been out to dinner with them several times since our home was completed. They were both very helpful all along the way during construction and were more like partners in the process rather than builders. Picking out colors, styles, etc. seemed like a daunting task but Kim was right with us holding our hand every step of the way. Early after moving in, there were a few minor issues that needed attention and Mike was very prompt about coming out to fix/repair when I notified him. We have had no major warranty issues at all since moving in. Overall, we have no regrets and would not think twice about using Mike and Kim again as our builders. You will be very pleased with their professionalism and the quality of the finished product. They will stand behind everything they do!”

“We carefully interviewed several builders before we selected Kevin Jackson and his team at Train Custom Homes. Building your dream home on a raw, unimproved piece of land without water or utilities is at best a daunting task, and we’re thankful and blessed that we picked a partner like Train. As discriminating clients, we appreciated Kevin’s integrity and high level of building expertise. He is very thoughtful, extremely honest and very passionate about what he does. First and foremost, Train will build a quality home with “great bones”. They utilize superior and innovative building materials from the foundation to energy efficient insulation and HVAC systems. We participated in every stage of our build, and know that we have a structurally superior house. With Train, your home is engineered to stand for a lifetime. Kevin helped us translate a vision, some sketches and a portfolio of curated photos to a set of architectural plans, and then executed those plans with incredible workmanship and attention to detail. That level of service remained consistent throughout our entire build and even after we moved in, with Train making whatever small adjustments were required. From a design perspective, Train is a true “custom” homebuilder. Kevin has the creative ability to fuse traditional, rustic Texas ranch or farmhouse structures with modern, contemporary and industrial interior finishes. It is clear there is a level of personal pride that goes into each client project. They back that pride with a solid warranty program and in our case, we’re pleased that our project came in within budget. When your friends and family tell you your home should be in Architectural Digest---that’s just a bonus. It’s a big responsibility to build someone’s home. A home is the core of a family, it’s your sanctuary and it’s a serious financial investment, one that can cannot be entrusted to just any builder. “We used Canterbury Custom Homes to build our new home almost 3 years ago. Even today, I am still in awe and the custom details in our home. This was the third home we had built and by far, the best experience ever. James was attentive to every detail and keep us abreast of everything. Above all. we stayed within budget and he did not go a dollar above what he quoted. Any changes I made, I paid directly to the subcontractor. James is a PERFECTIONIST and takes pride in the quality of his work and only uses the best subcontractors who bring that same level of passion and perfection to their respective areas. Above all, he is one of the most ethical people I've encountered in a long time. He means what he says and will always shoot straight with you. He met every deadline he committed on the front end.
