On the Spot Services
Tile & Stone Contractors Near South Bend
Average rating: 5 out of 5 starsSeptember 1, 2024
“On The Spot completed a bathroom remodel for me as well as replacing a vinyl floor, trim, and ceiling tile in my basement. I had a great experience working with Jhonny and Mike. Jhonny kept in communication from start to finish, and was easy to reach if I had questions. They put in some hard labor to pull out my old cast iron tub, and Jhonny showed great skill and attention to detail when laying my new tile. He also was helpful in keeping my budget in check, and discussing pros and cons of different choices. I appreciate their respect for me and my home, and care in cleaning up the worksite every day. They got the job done with minimal disruption. It was a pleasure to work with On The Spot for my project and I’m so happy with the results!”

“Zstone did our kitchen, bathroom, and wet bar counters (granite and marble) when we were designing our new town home. The staff was always courteous, well-informed, and helpful, but Zach, the owner, consistently went above and beyond. Of the many things we were pleased with, we tell everyone our "happy accident" story: when we met with Zach to discuss the layout for the kitchen, I emphasized that I needed the sink installed close to the edge of the counter, because of my bad back. Zach listened carefully, made the appropriate measurements, and told us it would be done. When his workers came out to install the counters and cut the hole for the sink, however, they cut the hole too far back. We called Zach and explained the problem. He immediately apologized, came out to look at it, and made us a proposal: if he couldn't figure out a way to move the sink to the right place and disguise the hole to our liking, he would put in a brand new counter (a giant granite slab) at no cost to us. He proposed installing a shelf behind the sink to cover the back of the hole, and showed us a drawing. We agreed to try it, and the result was absolutely beautiful. Far better than the sink area would have been without it! We were thrilled, and recommend him to everyone.”
