I met Sam, founder and owner of BCJadedesign, at a bus stop on a trip to Vancouver, coincidence? Maybe, I travel the world in search of beauty and culture, and sometimes it's a hit. The work made a great impression on me, the contemporary and innovative products are clearly grounded in the tradition of the west coast, subjects clearly identifiable and suffused with a contemporary interpretation that works very well. Timeless actually. The beautiful and special materials are processed using traditional methods to user-friendly and low-maintenance utensils. But above all, they are imbued with artistic qualities that make them a jewel in your home. See also the independent artistic work, they show a sharp mind, humor and a good sense of the zeitgeist. Made by a craftsman, an artist. I've seen them at work the man from BCJadedesign. I can highly recommend them, they are thoroughly and accurately with exceptional results due. The work that BC Jade Designs does is incredible. Not only are the designs unique, one-of-a-kind, they honour both the medium (jade and stone) and the West Coast motifs.
