Distinctive Tile & Stone Design is the best store to shop if you need tile. They have a great selection , different than you would see at the big box stores. The owners, Debra and Jack are wonderful,Debra has a decorating Expertise that helps you get the right tile for your job. The owners are knowledgeable, polite, and make you feel like they have known you all your life. Their installers,Mike and Mike{ ha, I know, they both have the same first name} were great, very meticulous of their work, on time,cleaned up after themselves and did a fantastic job. If you need tile work done,please visit this business, you will not be disappointed.

Deb Elstrom was fun to work with. She is knowledgeable about the tile industry and uses that to be very helpful in finding options. She was able to accommodate and match up our custom design very well with the correct materials from her suppliers. She has good connections to other industries in the remodeling space, and was able to get us discounts with other merchants for needed supplies and materials. Deb was willing to negotiate and make changes to the scope and pricing until we both were satisfied. She also had the foresight to stock up on some needed materials in anticipation of pandemic-related shortages. Her business is more of a boutique, and I was originally searching for some project management or organizational-type assistance. I ended up acting as my own GC and subbing out the demo, tiling, plumbing, electric, etc. myself after purchasing the fixtures and tile. I even handled the permits and inspections process. Mid-project, after a couple of attempts to find the correct stone color and texture for a redesigned custom shower curb and room threshold, Deb had me visit a local supplier where I was able to find what I was looking for and have it finished. I then also had to pick up the finished products from the supplier while also supervising the work at home, as no one was available to get the stone mid-project, in order to avoid any delay. Deb was also able to promptly provide replacement tiles for any damaged ones we received and react to mid-project design changes with new quotes and availability. Overall a very good business with good people running it. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I worked with Debra at Distinctive Tile an Stone Design to pick out and purchase the backsplash tile for our kitchen. She was fantastic! She was great with communication and always got back to me when I had questions. She was also very patient with me during the selection process. In my search for the "perfect" tile for my kitchen floor, I am so happy that I found Distinctive Tile. Deb immediately made me feel comfortable. As noted in other reviews, there is an incredible selection of gorgeous tile and the take home samples are large enough so that you can easily visualize the end result. The installation process was amazingly painless with Mike and his crew and especially appreciated since we've had some pretty crummy experiences with home projects in the past. This place is the absolute best! I love my floor!

We are just starting a master bath shower redo. We found Jack and Deb because they are a Schluter system dealer and we plan to use that in our renno. But they are soooo much more than that. They are the most helpful vendor we have ever met. They have a fantastic selection of stunning tile that is available at a great price. They have also offered tons of helpful insight and advice. Kindest, most sincere people we have worked with. I will come back and post pics as the project progresses. Thanks for everything!!!

Best customer service ANYWHERE. Deb is a jewel and one of those people who can sense immediately a customers taste and what they are looking for. Picking tiles can be overwhelming. Deb has the design talent that customers long for. Can't say enough good things about this store or my experience here. Best you all see for yourself how good she and Jack are.

After searching all the local stores for a tile “that not everyone else had” we found Deb and Jack. Within 5 minutes we found our tile. They make it so easy because they carry the most beautiful, far from basic selections!! Everything in the showroom is gorgeous. On top of that Deb and Jack are so helpful. They really make your experience special. I can’t wait to work with them again!!

The BEST! Deb was so helpful and knew alot about tile. She even helped me design the floors in ways I would have never thought of. Also purchased my vessel sinks from her. The showroom has a great selection and the entire showroom is organized and clean. I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I am with my two bathroom projects. Distinctive tile is the best! The owners (Deb and Jack) will take the time to understand your job and your needs and guide you through the process. They have an endless array of samples to choose from and their customer service is second to none!

The shop is in a very handy location, and is packed with beautiful tiles to chose from. Debra Ellstrom was so helpful in assisting me in picking out the tiles for my bathroom renovation. My shower, though small is gorgeous, and the stone floor is perfect for the room.

I love love love this store! So many amazing things! Friends and helpful! I’ve spent time in many tile stores and this is by far my favorite. Not just is the selection amazing so is everyone who works at Distinctive Tile
