Subway Tile Outlet

Ordered a square foot of tile and they sent me a sample. Annoying, but I figured it was an easy fix since, if the color worked, I was planning on ordering more for a shower wall and they could just adjust the price. Ordered an additional 50 square feet and got an email saying the order had shipped. Next day got an email saying they only had 10 square feet in stock and that I would be getting a refund. I would avoid this place.

We had a truly disappointing experience with the company, Subway Tile Outlet. We placed an order for $715, (45 sq. ft of Aqua glass subway tile.) We saw how dark the color was and placed a new order for the same amount of tile in a different color. We paid over $500 for express shipping and when I emailed about the RMA for the first batch, I was told that I had to ship it back at my expense and pay a $200+ restocking fee to Subway Tile Outlet. (Even though I placed another full order.) That seemed so ridiculous that I would rather keep the tile and donate it, than lose another $200. I understand that it may be their policy, but when I placed the second order over the phone, the young man who took my order should have made me aware of that. Today, as my tile guys were installing the tile, they discovered that one of the boxes contained tile that was completely damaged and broken. (See attached photos.) I called immediately and spoke with Joanna, who sadly told me that overnight shipping from Subway Tile Outlet would be at my expense (over $300). I explained that my tile guys were only there for two days, but she could not do anything about it. So, I paid the shipping. Joanna said she would check with the shipping department about getting that lowered as she said it sounded high to her. She also gave me the name of the owner of the company and I emailed him, but he never replied. As I found Subway Tile Outlet on Houzz.com I felt this was the appropriate platform to address this issue. The only bright spots in this whole experience is that Joanna was very nice on the phone, and that the tile is beautiful. (However, the tile was just a basic glass tile that could be purchased anywhere.) Unfortunately, that does not make up for the extra $1000 that this cost us. Of course you may make up your own mind, but had I known this, I would have shopped locally instead of using the convenience of the internet.

What a great company! It was refreshing to have a company actually do what they advertise! My tile was received with no problems and, best of all, tile was reasonably priced and good quality. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I ordered several samples so that I could make an informed choice for my kitchen remodel. I chose Subway Tile Outlet because of price, but was more pleasantly surprised by the service. They over-nighted the samples and shipping is free. I am going to use Subway Tile Outlet for my project and will continue to order from them.

I keep coming back to Subway Tile Outlet for numerous jobs due to their excellent customer service and superior products! I have been more then pleased every time I order from them.

I used their Ice Glass Subway Tile for my kitchen backsplash and adore it! All of the tile arrived on time and in great condition, no breaks or chips. It was so easy to put on and cut, my boyfriend and I didn't even need any help. The color looks perfect with our black counters. It has changed the entire feel of my kitchen I was so tired of just having paint behind my sink and counter. Subway Tile Outlet also has free shipping and the best prices that I could find! What's not to love?!?!?
