We had a great experience with them. We made a beautiful Main bathroom with a floor of Doge Mosaic (Light Grey) and a wall of 12x24 Thassos Marble. We also had one wall of 3x12 Thassos done in a herringbone pattern.

Horrible experience! Everything that could have gone wrong, did. First, I requested and PAID for 2 different lot samples of Carrara marble tile to be sent to me, however, only one lot was sent. Then my tile shipment was not delivered on the day that I was told. I took off of work that day to be there! When I finally received the shipment on a different day it was missing some of the order. Since I already had scheduled my installer, I had to go out and run around trying to find the missing piece even though I called the store the day before and they had time to get it to me. They spent time worrying about what happened instead of getting me the piece. The Carrara tile was installed and looks horrendous. The thickness of the tile is different. Now the tile has to come down in my new kitchen! Horrendous experience. I asked for a credit but they will not do anything for me. They will not even admit they were wrong. They just keep saying they tried to rectify the issue as promptly as possible. Avoid dealing with this company!
Update: The tile and Sheetrock had to be taken down!!!! 6 weeks later I still have no Backsplash. Artistic Tile would not give me any sort of refund. They offered to give me a discount on new tile! After I lost $1,400 they wanted more of my money!! Horrible experience!

I discovered Artistic Tile over a decade ago, when I started on my first full construction project. I needed a soft butter colored subway tile. I could not find it anywhere and, of course, only Artistic could custom order them for me. That backsplash made the kitchen!
Today, as a designer who uses the classic and timeless motto, Artistic Tile is my go to store. It has the true, no fail classics, as well as truly artistic, one of a kind pieces for that unique expression that a client might be looking for.
Needless to say, their designers are thorough, thoughtful and professional. I have especially enjoyed working with Carmen Negron in the Paramus store in NJ.

this is a review of Sinuous Ming Green tile sold by the company, Artistic Tile
We are currently in the process of a complete bathroom remodel. We are installing the Victoria & Albert Cabrits tub and went with Happy Floors porcelain tiles, Sublime for the floors and walls. I found a beautiful tile by Artistic Tile Co. in a showroom in my hometown named, Sinuous in Ming Green. We ordered a sample and received 2. Although the showroom sample had a bit more of a blue green look, overall the samples sent were lovely and we decided to use the tiles as a listel accent. We were horribly shocked by the color when we received our order. The green was so pale our installer thought they sent the wrong ones. The local store was shocked as well noting that these were incredibly pale and not representative at all of their floor sample or of the sample pieces we received. On Artistic Tile's web page the bathroom photos of Sinuous Ming Green did indeed resemble the 2 samples we had been sent. The Happy Floors tile was a near perfect match to their samples and we assumed Artistic Tile would at least be a close match to their samples as well. With our vanity counter tops, paint, and everything else depending on the shading of the Ming Green we were in a bind with 2 weeks to go before installing the listel.
Our representative in Lexington was fabulous and called Artistic Tile to voice our displeasure as well as hers at this large color discrepancy. Thankfully Artistic Tile was able to locate the lot of tile that the original sample pieces came from, but they were short several pieces to complete our bathroom. So, they sent several pieces from a different lot, again much lighter, and our installer was able to hide them behind our door.
Our major complaint is the huge difference in what you see, and what you get! It is understandable that sample pieces and what you receive can vary, but not this much at $75.00 a Sq. Ft. ! We feel Artistic Tile should warn potential customers about this difference in the color they advertise and what one may receive.

The opera series is absolutely our favorite item to specify. We use the 1"x2" all the time. You can keep it clean and simple or pop it with a bold grout color. It's the perfect backsplash and we use it often in our bathroom niches. Great company to work with.

Updating our previous comment as we've tracked down your order information through one of our retail locations and are now up to speed on existing correspondence with you.
First of all, while we look into the delivery issues you say you've experienced, we want you to know that if this happens to any of our customers, we find it entirely unacceptable, and we are looking deeply into what might have occured within our different departments for so many issues to have occured. You should have every expectation of prompt delivery as promised, and the places we may have fallen short are on us. Your calling our attention to these issues is a service to us, as it will help us find any inefficiencies and improve them - but we're sorry you had to experience any issues to begin with.
That said, what we originally posted here remains true - we've been in business for over thirty years, and this is among the worst installations we've ever seen - certainly with product that's been attributed to us in any way. We can now report that we have checked the very lot that your material was pulled from, and there is little to zero variation in the thickness of our tiles. Our lots are tightly controlled, and we are confident that the materials you received are within the same degree of tolerance.
As noted earlier, we employ the strictest quality control in the industry, and no product leaves our distribution center with variance in thickness even sort of like what is displayed in the images you posted. This appears to be a straightforward installer issue. Let's discuss the process, please, as we can see several errors that are immediately apparent in this install, and we have verified that the tile itself is not the issue.
We understand that you retain some quantity of material that is yet uninstalled. In our last private correspondence with you, we requested images showing the variance you have noted. Do feel free to post those here, or to send them to us privately. We stand behind our products - if the issue is, despite all we believe or have observed, due to faulty Artistic Tile product, we will stand behind it 100%.
