I'm Salvador Castillo, the owner of Casa Castillo, and I want to let you know more about our store and its history. I'm a part of a family of Mexican artisans, which has more than a hundred years of experience. I'm originally from Guanajuato, in central Mexico, but I have lived in the USA for the past decade.
I get to know each person well, so that I can determine how they will use the income they receive from your contributions and from your purchases. I do this to ensure that they use their earnings to improve their skills, expand their horizons and give something back to their family and their community. I avoid artisans who appear to be more interested in profits than they are in creating quality pieces.
Every time you buy one of our fine pieces from the Casa Castillo online store, you can be certain that you are not only helping the Mexican artisan community, but you are making a talented person feel as though their work is appreciated. Your contributions also help families and communities throughout Mexico.

WOW! WOW! WOW! If you are looking for gorgeous, custom tiles that make a statement, Casa Castillo is the place!! I have ordered from them twice now and the product they deliver is fabulous, however, the delivery time they estimate online is not very accurate. The tiles I ordered said "2-3 week delivery" but 9-ish weeks later I received the product. Do not let a lag in delivery stop you from ordering! Plan accordingly, sit tight, and know that an artist is creating something beautiful because it will be WORTH THE WAIT!!!

I chose the Bella 3 tile because of its unique design. The pattern we designed included terracotta and blanco tiles, too. The pricing, shipping and communication between Salvador and myself was excellent! I did pay extra for expedited shipping but so worth it. Tiles came in tightly packed, none broken in any of the boxes. Communication between sales manager, Salvador and myself was fast and he answered all my concerns. Recommend Casa Castillo for all your tie needs. I love my finished look,

Can't beat their prices. Allow for extra shipping time (It was 2 months after my purchase date when I got tracking numbers). I purchased high relief and frost proof tiles for a small project. I checked a few local tile store in Las Vegas, but since every place still required special order why not order online, get it shipped directly to you, and for less.

We purchased an SP0015 pedestal sink, were advised it would we three week, arrived in 8 weeks.
The sink drain hole was so close to the back of the sink we cloud not use the standard p-trap and had to purchase a special very expensive oval trap for $80.00. When I emailed about this issue we received no response.
Once we received our facet, pop-up downspout and oval trap which we ordered from http://signaturehardware.com I was ready to attempt the installation. Unfortunately the downspout did not fit through the hole on the sink.
Statement from there website on the Artist Description page “Made to comply with the American plumbing standards you will not have a problem with installation, parts or maintenance.” So they do not make their sinks to accommodate standard plumbing fixtures otherwise the pull have made the downspout hold larger to accommodate a pop up downspout.
Although we know there are lots of positive reviews (why we ordered from them). Our experience has not been positive at all, we would not recommend purchasing from this company.

I purchased tile for use in my house
Casa Castillo has a great selection of tile at good prices. Customer service exceeds excellent!! The tiles arrived earlier than expected with no breakage. I'm very happy with my decision to use Casa Castilla! The project I am using the tile for will not be completed for a couple of months. I will post pictures when it's done.

While vacating in Mexico I found the Casa Castillo website. I ordered some talavera tiles for a small project , making a cover for a firepit to make it more usuable in warm weather. The tiles arrived prpmptly and the quality is excellent, clear bright colors with no ‘smudging’ which I have seen before on other tiles.
Thry were packaged very carefully and arrived with no damage.
I highly recommend Casa Castillo and will never look elsewhere for Talavera.
Special thanks to your artisians who obviously take great pride in their work and truly deserved.

We live in Australia and found our dealings with Casa Castillo to be incredibly efficient, professional, extremely helpful and communication to be open and informative. Their work speaks for itself and is in a league of its own. They are true artisans. More of this beauty on the planet would make for a more interesting and creatively expansive world. We would have loved to have used the faucets and tapware but unable to because of Australian bureaucracy. Cant wait for the next project. BRAVO!!

I asked Salvadore for an entirely new design to fit the theme of our home and he and his artisans created a work of art!!!!! From scratch they designed a beach themed pedestal sink that is so beautiful.
