There are a lot of people that say they can do any type of tile, and usually the job gets left unfinished or not looking 100%. As a child and growing up I was very artistic. Two weeks after graduating high school I received a job with Demarco Bros Company. There I was trained by some of the best installers in Nebraska. True Italians, where tile originated, that have over 40 years experience. I trained with them for 6 years doing some of the biggest buildings in Omaha. Some of them include: Qwest Center Omaha, First National Tower, Hilton Hotel at the Qwest, just to name a few. After 6 years I started to ponder creating my own business, and in March of 2006 I established Certified Tile & Stone, Inc. I took all of my training abilities and had a goal to be the best tile contractor in Nebraska. Certified Tile & Stone has now been in business for 5 years. The company continues to grow as we work with some of the best designers and builders in Omaha. We are a dedicated company that strives for customer satisfaction. We work very clean, 8 or more hours a day, and do not expect to get paid until you are 100% satisfied. We look forward to doing business with you.

Certified Tile has completed 3 separate jobs for us over the last few years and we could not be happier. They helped with a bathroom remodel, laundry/mud/walk-in pantry remodel and a wet bar (floor and backsplash) in our basement. The most recent job was our laundry area which had 16 corners (closets/built-ins you name it) they needed to cut to tile around, about 250 square feet in all, and they completed the job in two and a half days and it looks amazing. They also re-sealed (after my husband and I spent a full day restoring and cleaning) our 40 year old cut travertine entry area of 150+ square feet, a night and day difference and a low cost update that has a huge impact on our entry looks. Certified is a first-class company, always on time to start and finish, great communication and a fair price. The owner has allowed us to shop several tile suppliers around town and passed through his contractor discount to us on all materials – almost unheard as I think most contractors are dishonest about what they’ve spent on materials and add a markup. The owner, Jon (the owner I think?), has had good advice on how to tile each job, using timeless finishes that should never go out of style. I’ve recommended Certified/Jon to several friends and family, he recently completed the master bath and a new entry in my brothers house in Gretna and it looks fantastic and his experience with the company was the same as mine. Certified has always been on time, has great employees, charges a fair price and the owner is trustworthy beyond what we’ve experienced with any other contractor/trade. The owner does what he says he is going to do, when he says he will do it, at the cost that is quoted and has even come in below budget on one of the jobs. I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone, it’s hard to find contractors like this and when you do you never go with anyone else. A great company and my husband and I highly recommend.
Certified Tile recently finished my Master Bath, and main level in heated wood plank tile. From start to finish, they did an absolute fantastic job. They have a great eye for detail, design, and very clean. Iam so happy with the finished product, it looks better than i could ever imagined. Thank you to Jon and the crew. You guys are awesome
These people quoted me $1000 for a $400 job, which is placing concrete boards and tiling a part of the shower wall which I had to accept because I was on a short schedule, the final product is not even typical expected quality rather it being $1000 quality, I would not recommend hiring these people.
