Everything about working with Michael on our bathroom remodel met or exceeded our expectations! Michael was prompt in reaching out after our first inquiry, setting up an initial meeting in a timely manner. He spoke clearly and decisively about what and how he does business. What drew us to Michael was that he only handled one project at a time. Dedicating all his time and resources to the project he was currently working on. I believe this allowed him to complete a full bath remodel in a timely manner which we were very thankful for. Going forward, Michael worked with us helping to flesh out our concept. Sharing his expertise and encouraging us to think outside the box a bit when he thought we might be open to it. Which was great! Because, he's seen a lot more bathrooms than we have and had a better idea of what would work, and better yet, what would really work. Michael was always prompt, starting when he said he would start, putting in long days when necessary to keep the project on schedule. He ways always friendly, courteous and respectful of both us and our property. We loved that he strove to minimize his footprint while here and cleaned up after each work day. We couldn't be happier with our new bathroom and are thankful that we found Michael.

I very strongly recommend Mike for all home renovation work. He completed a full renovation of our upstairs bathroom and we legitimately love it. He takes the time to listen to what you are wanting for the renovation and then goes to work. His attention to detail, his knowledge and experience, and the quality of his work are all reasons that I would strongly recommend Mike for any contractor/ home renovation work being considering.

Working with Mike was great from start to finish. He spent a lot of time with my husband and me working out the design for our bathroom rennovation, and created a design rendering to show what the finished room would look like. I appreciated his detailed communication (because, the devil is in the details, as they say...) throughout the project to make sure we were on the same page. Mike's timeline was on point from start to finish, and he communicated any time there were any surprises along the way (ie. once the walls and sub-floor were removed he saw joists and support beams that had been cut by a previous installer) Mike's attention to detail and pride in his work are apparent in the finished product. Mike brought our home's only full bathroom from grimy and shabby to now being the nicest room in our house. I cannot stress enough how happy this rennovation makes me and suffice it to say, it was worth the wait to work with Mike. 100% I would work with Mike again.

Local Tile are simply fantastic. Michael, the owner, tiled about 600sf of our living area. This was a difficult job because our floors are not exactly level and having a log home, some corners were not 90 degrees and there were some other issues to overcome. What I experienced working with Michael was someone who was not only a master of his craft, but also dedicated to making the floor perfect even if it took longer than initially anticipated. He simply will not do work that isn't up to his exacting standards and the finished product tells the story. We highly recommend Local Tile and would work with them again without hesitation. Worth noting as well is that if someone is over to your house for multiple weeks, it would be nice if that person were friendly, conversational and respectful of the house. Check all boxes here as well. Simply top notch.

Michael was a pleasure to work with from our first interaction until the job was finished. He was very quick to respond to the initial inquiry. We didn't know much about tiling or what tile we wanted, so he offered to arrange a call to educate us of the various tile options. He patiently answered our million questions. When we arrived to the tile store, we had to call him with a few questions we had forgotten to ask, and he was very prompt in getting back to us with the answers. Overall, his work was beyond our expectations. His communication was excellent. He was very detail oriented, as well as very clean. He left the area he was working in exactly as he found it at the end of everyday. Overall, we're really happy we got to work with him. Not only is he easy to work with, but his work is of exceptional quality. We would hire him again without a doubt.

Michael Doherty's renovation of our Master bath and Guest bath exceeded our expectations. Michael is especially talented in tile work, approaching the project as if it were his own. Before laying the first tile, he reviewed each piece and planned the arrangement so that the tile pattern (porcelain tile with gray veining on white) would flow beautifully. This approach was taken for the shower with the tile extending to the ceiling, the shower floor with a chevron pattern, and on the shower surround. Michael also installed a new vanity and hardware to perfection with nice finishing touches. Michael's collaborative approach meant that he consulted us at each step, ensuring that his plan was also pleasing to us. He carefully protected our carpet and other areas, ensuring that the construction debris did not affect other spaces of our home. Michael is engaging and it was a pleasure to have him in our home for our renovation projects. It has been three months since the completion of our projects, and we've come to appreciate Michael's attention to detail. We're enjoying our fresh new spaces.

We could have picked anyone but just anyone would not do. We took a chance and met and hired Local Tile with M. Doherty on recommendations from Houzz reviews and Artistic Tile in Nashua. After we met in person we knew he was the right fit for us. He was careful, trusting and very good at what he does. I liked that after discussing the project he made a plan for each day of the job phase and stuck to it. No surprises or screw ups. Mike even made arrangements to pick up our tile order in Nashua. He cleaned up each day so we didn’t have to step over his equipment and mess. Our bathroom floor was a small job that he fit in and attended to just as he would some big expensive high end mansion. As a former educator of 35 years I can appreciate the skills and craftsmanship. We were very pleased with our new floor. He did his homework and that suits us just fine. Michael, Local Tile, comes highly recommended. He is exactly what you’d expect with a company name called Local Tile. His knowledge and work ethic is what you expect in a local handy man that you always find yourself looking for. He knows exactly what his is talking about and stands by his product/services. We had some concerns about installing tile in our four season room and how it would react to the temperature changes. He sat down with my wife and I and explained everything that he’d be doing and the products that he was using to eliminate any of the concerns we had. He told us how long it would take to install the tile and the overall time frame of the project. He was spot on with his time frame. His knowledge of the products and installation is by far more superior than all of the other tile companies we received quotes from. He is definitely passionate about his work and understood that this project was a big deal to us. The floor came out amazing! Great work!

Mike did a wonderful job putting the tile into our small half-bath! He was able to cut the pieces of tile just perfectly to make everything fit in the small space. He worked diligently until the job was done and was extremely friendly and pleasant the entire time. We might even be looking to have him come back for our upstairs bathroom!

I have been a general contractor for 8 years and have been working with Mike for about 6 of those years. After first meeting Mike I noticed that he has a strong interest in the design side of each project and what it's going to look like on the finish. He will talk you through the different options and what I think sets him apart is he will do a full calculated lay out of your space. Mike did a wonderful job on our shower. He is unbelievably thorough and precise, friendly, professional and a true master of his craft. He got the job done on time and under what he had originally quoted us. After dealing with a complete nightmare of a contractor who had originally installed the shower, Mike was like a breath of fresh air. We bought a house that needed some updating. The bathrooms were very old - straight out of the 60’s. Mike was awesome. He met with us even before we made an offer and offered suggestions. We wanted to renovate the two upstairs bathrooms first and he worked within our budget to complete both simultaneously. We are so happy with the results. Mike was meticulous yet timely. And very clean. We only wish he still serviced the south shore because now we want to renovate our third bathroom. We couldn’t be happier with his work.

Mike is great! He came in and fixed a horrible tile job that another contractor had done. The previous tile work in the shower was not aesthetically pleasing and would have caused extensive damage to our house because nothing was waterproofed appropriately. The drain didn't even drain because the opening was the highest point in the shower floor! Mike was able to come in to demo the previous tile work and complete our custom shower quicker and cheaper than the previous people. He also did the heated floor in our bathroom. Mike involved us in each step of the project and displayed to us how everything was up to industry standards. We could not be happier with the results of our bathroom! Not only is Mike great at what he does, he is also very personable and pleasant to talk to.

I have hired Mike for numerous projects. From Bathroom tile, kitchen floor, carpentry, and rebuilding my shed that was about to collapse. Mike has done fantastic work on every project. However, the best part of working with Mike is his honesty and integrity. If he says he will be there, you can count on it. On a few occassions he has even offered cheaper alternatives due to his experience because he understands the value of his name.
