Must have looked at 10-12 stone countertop places in the Miramar area and found nothing in the colors and price we liked. Did some research online and found Rock-It. It was well worth the drive. Not only did we find a stone we love they do it all, measure, fabricate and install. Steve and Richard are great. They were patient with us when we ran into an issue with our cupboards. Their crew were so nice and polite cleaned up everything and of course wore masks. Now that the countertops have been installed we love them even more. Excellent. From start to finish Rock-it Surfaces communicated accurately and honestly. Their workmanship is top-notch. This was a large kitchen project with 5ft x 12ft island which required 3 slabs. The stone we used (Dakar quartzite) came from Rock-it's on-site slab yard and is beautiful. This was not my first stone countertop project, but it has been by far my best stone countertop experience.

Fantastic people and company to work with. Everyone is friendly and professional and very helpful. Workmanship was excellent and installation was fast, and they cleaned up when done! Pricing was upfront and no surprises - printed out and all costs explained.

Excellent quality concious folks. Few hiccups, but later on that. They have all the right tools to do the job correctly and highly skilled workers. Everybody were very courteous, responsive, answers questions very patiently and support through the complete installation process. They don't pressure at all, I took my design dimensions to them and tried various options like 4-5 times and got quote for what the installation would actually cost. I think this is how all genuine contractors should be if they are confident of their quality and price competitiveness. They have good selection of stones and sometimes let search on their stone supplier website. We picked stone from their yard. They finished the installation on time except for recutting the stone that they said couldn't install because it had a fissure. One thing I regret is choosing a small sink in kids bath room. Its too small, should have just gone with larger rectangle sink that we got in Master bath. Also make sure to look through the dimensions when they send photo to approve. This is your last chance to confirm and request any change. I didn't look at the dimensions carefully, the bar top was smaller by around 3/4 inch on 2 sides and after install it visibly looked smaller than the counter top it replaced. When you pick the stone from remnants stock make sure to touch and see the stone, I picked the stone that looked good, but it was satin and I thought it was glossy, it was my mistake of not picking properly. One bad thing happened is, Steven recommended Stanislaw Ziolkowski for cabinet refinishing, but I lost money to Stan Z, since he stopped responding to my and Steven's calls after I canceled his contract.

Excellent company to use for countertops! They helped us with selecting the countertop slab that was perfect for our kitchen, worked to fit in a great pattern from the slab, and took a lot of care with the installation.

After negative experiences with a designer whose relationship with a wholesaler was confusing, then a wholesale place open to the public where no prices were posted, then a retail slab place with confusing info about how many slabs would be needed.... we found Rock-It on the web and I appreciated Steven's simple and very informative video. Steven was not pushy and took my napkin-dimensions, converted them into a clear estimate, and let me walk around looking at slabs on a couple of occasions. We finally chose the amazing non-shiny dolomite marble and he had it installed within the week, so we only couldn't use our kitchen for two days. It's stunning. Like unbelievable. We couldn't be happier. No hidden charges, and by the way, you can see the difference between our thick one-inch slabs and the thinner slabs used in even very expensive homes.

We did a tear out of old tile counter tops and replaced them with Rock-It granite. They were very helpful in selecting the stone and really shined in measuring for layout. Our mid age house had some sagging and they were able to adjust during cutting and installation to seat the four pieces perfectly. The installation team was very professional, tidy and friendly. We are very pleased with the entire process and final results working with Rock-It.

Can't say enough about this Team. Their quote was fast, their price was very competitive, and they delivered ahead of proposed schedule. I also like that they deal with 3-cm slabs versus 2-cm. Our kitchen design went through a few iterations, and by the time we were ready to actually buy countertops, their inventory had changes somewhat, and they were out of the particular stone we wanted. We searched their suppliers and found a few slabs in Orange County that they quickly arranged to have delivered to their shop. They even resurfaced the stone to a satin brushed versus the original polish. The installation was great, the Team was professional and clean. You don't often undertake a total kitchen re-model, so you want it done right. The results are stunning. I couldn't be more pleased with the Rock-It Team.

The Rock-It Surfaces team removed my old granite kitchen countertops and replaced them with new granite. I found them to be very knowledgeable and detail oriented. The whole process was completed in about four days to my satisfaction. I would definitely hire them again!
