RSK Stone

We worked with RSK Stone to purchase 1 slab of White Rhino for our bathroom. This included the fabrication/installation costs. Unfortunately, due to severe negligence on RSK’s side and refusal to issue a refund, this situation has resulted in further delays in our project, as we needed the countertop installed correctly in order to finish carpentry. Below are the reasons for requesting this refund: -We purchased a slab of white rhino in January and paid in full. When we needed the material, we were told our slab was missing. We were asked to pick out a new slab, which did not match the previous material. -We were not asked to approve a template mockup, or asked for what kind of edging we would like and unfortunately what was installed was not what we wanted. I confirmed with RSK in Wilmington that templating is common for marble material and we should have been given this service. -Problems with install (photos attached with each item documented): The piece next to the tub surround does not match; it has much more veining and looks like a different material The corner of the piece next to the tub is chipped The gaps between the wall and between the other slab are much too large The epoxy was left in a big mess all over the material The corner of the sink countertop is chipped One of the sink countertop ends extends past the wall, the other end is too far in There were cuts and damage made to the plaster during install Due to the three main issues above, we are requesting a full refund of $6,232.54 and will be working with a different supplier and fabricator to complete this job. We requested this refund be completed by 10/24/2023 (provided multiple opportunities and plenty of time) We removed the stone pieces that RSK installed and let them know they they can pickup the material at the house. We left these outside for pickup and RSK did not come. We are still waiting for our refund of over $6000.

Went to RSK based on internet search and seeing many good reviews and found wide array of available product at reasonable pricing. They sent me to two wholesalers for further options....but you only buy from fabricators in this industry, so wholesalers just provide more color options. Just a matter of taste and budget. Raina walked us through whole process...perfect direction, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We shopped other private companies as well as the big box stores. After a month and a half of research, went back to RSK and chose our granite slabs. Unlike other places that wanted half down and 4-5 weeks to install, RSK needed much less down and promised install in 10 days. From time of purchase it was 3 days to when template team came to house to measure all our surfaces...then 7 days later....the install group came back and put all the counters in place. Ours was not an easy job as there were multiple levels of counter-top and tricky angles. We also got the sink from RSK.....cheaper than elsewhere and nice improvement in larger size. The pieces went in like a glove and look great. In an out of install in about 4 hours. And took our old counters with them. Nice people all around, great prices, terrific work. RSK has hundreds of slabs on-site at their Peabody showroom and does all of the fabrication in house - which makes a client's turnaround time and installation date happen faster. Also, they just made a major investment in the top machine brand in the USA for cutting and finishing kitchen countertops, bathroom vanity tops, fireplaces, and more. I found RSK through an internet search and was pleasantly surprised when I visited their Peabody showroom. They have a nice selection of stones and their salesperson was extremely helpful in navigating the many options. It can be overwhelming to choose and she was patient to explain the subtle differences between the selections. She gave recommendations on what might look best with our new bathroom design. RSK made everything pretty easy and straightforward. I definitely recommend RSK for their wide selection and professional advice.
