“I am one of the principal owners of a busy renovation company based in Toronto. I've been working with R and A stairs for over 6 years. On one recent project we ordered 3 sets of very wide saw tooth, rift white oak stairs with concealed stringers. Very modern and very heavy. It took the installers over 12 hours to manoeuvre and fit these stairs. They are perfect and the client is ecstatic. From fabrication to installation R and A stairs have the experience and the know how to provide their customers with excellent quality. They are reliable and I like that the owner Rick is the one measuring and the main contact for questions and concerns. All of our projects are tricky due to the nature of the older housing stock in Toronto and R and A is always able to figure it out and provide great quality stairs and railings. I would never look anywhere else.”

“I received a quote from Grant at Royal Oak Railing and Stair. He is pleasant and very professional. Grant also sent me pictures of his company's previous job which was exactly what I was looking for, a open riser staircase with a wood & glass railing plus new wood basement stairs. I would of had the job done yesterday but I'm still looking for a contractor to do some drywall patchwork to accommodate the new stairs and to remove my old staircases. I'm hoping to get it done by March/2014.
Also Royal Oak Railing and Stairs was referred to me by Douglas Design Studios in Toronto free of charge.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Claus for the last few years. We met while I was searching for someone who could build a cantilevered wood stair with a glass railing. Claus was professional and provided great feedback to ensure that the stairs, which were built in Germany came to the site and fit perfectly within the existing building. These stairs were 4 floors high, and were for two slightly different townhomes. Claus was also able to provide custom cabinetry and panelling under the stairs to create a powder room and storage. These are top of the line custom stairs that were prefabricated and installed without further finishing on site required. I would highly recomment Dream Stairs and Railings for any custom job.”

“After reading some online reviews, we walked into the Classic Floor Shop and met both Frances & Paolo who immediately provided us with a strong comfort level given their knowledge and patient approach to answering all our questions. After some further review of options and a visit from Paolo, we committed to install Twelve Oaks engineered hardwood in most of our main floor, upper hall, master bedroom, along with new baseboard. We also had the stairs recapped and the railing stained and new posts/pickets installed both up and down. Shortly after we decided to remove a wall and renovate the kitchen at the same time including extending the hardwood into the kitchen. They were very understanding regarding the need to coordinate with our kitchen contractors timing.
The work was completed on the date agreed and in less time than originally anticipated. The installers were very pleasant, answered all our questions and did great work. Paolo stopped by to not only get them started but throughout the days to check-in. Everything was finished to perfection and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. It was a pleasure to work with Frances and Paolo throughout the entire process and would highly recommend them for any hardwood flooring and stair/railing work.
