In 1978, Wayne Wakefield decided it was time to turn his hard working mindset and hobby into a business. Wayne was raised here in Southern Illinois. He had been self-employed as a Snap-On dealer. Wayne saw the current Tree Service market and knew he could do something to make it better. He began purchasing equipment and began Wayne's Tree Service. Today, Wayne's Tree Service has grown to be the top Tree Service in southern Illinois. Wayne and his crew have been keeping lines maintained, trees trimmed, stumps removed, and so much more for nearly 40 years!
