“My experience working with Jodee was very positive. We did most of our work remotely and relied on telephone and email communication. Jodee had many creative decorating suggestions which gave our home personality and stayed within our budget. She suggested a chandelier and sideboard that really help differentiate our cabin and bring a smile to our faces when we enter the space. Her sense of color, texture and pattern are exceptional and the furniture sources she buys from are both reasonable and high quality. We really appreciate how she made our cabin a welcoming home which we can also rent and know will hold up for years. And everything was completed within 4 months, in time for the Holidays.”

“Constructive Solutions, Inc., completed a beautiful LEED certified home, shop and artist's studio for us in 2010. We are so pleased, not only with the craftsmanship and special considerations in our working relationship, but with the follow up service regarding the workings and settling issues of a new home. Deadlines were met within a reasonable timeframe and communications on change orders were explained in detail. As an artist, it was exciting to be able to see my ideas become reality under Robs direction and my husband's engineering requirements were carried out with great detail. Rob listens well, is a genius of a builder with many innovative, sustainable ideas in his homebuilding ethic and is willing to think out of the box in architectural detailing. “I’ve had the opportunity to work with Don on two home construction projects. On the first project, I received two quotes and Don’s bid was the high. I ended up choosing the low bidder and deeply regret my decision. The contractor I went with used the cheapest subcontractor’s he could find, underestimated lumber quantities, and was never on site so I ended up doing most of the work myself. On the second project, I realized that the low bid is not always the best bid so I went with Don Schmidt. Don delivered a high quality home on time and under budget. If you want a quality home at a fair price, I would recommend Don Schmidt for your next home construction project.”
