“Paul at HOM was such a pleasure to work with. We updated the feature wall in our living room and not a detail was left to chance. The paint color on shelves, on walls behind shelves to the fireplace surround stone selection were all thought out and perfect. His eye for appreciating the final "effect" you are striving for is so comforting along the path to the final product. We are now working with Paul and HOM on or master bath remodel. We are now down to studs and cannot wait to see where Paul takes us on this adventure!”

“Working with Beaver Mountain on our addition was a positive experience from the first day to the last. We added a master bedroom and bath, family room, mudroom/laundry entrance and garage, and our "old" porch was enclosed to make a pantry. The original home was sided in the same cedar siding matching the new addition. The guidance and support from Beaver Mountain was professional, skilled, and always available. The materials provided were of the highest quality, The outside cedar siding is 2 inches thick and both sides were stained before being brought to our site. The inside pine is amazingly beautiful and smooth. After blueprints were finalized we were introduced to three contractors who were scheduled at intervals to come to the site, along with B.M.'s Francie Cook, to meet with us and discuss the construction plans. They sent in their bids to B.M. for the project and chose the contractor we felt met our needs the best. This was wonderful since we had never been involved with a construction project before. The project was completed in a timely fashion and we are pleased with our new and improved home.”

“Upon purchasing a home built in the era of the 1960’s, we consulted with and hired Laura Intscher from Secret Based Design to reconfigure the space of the home which was very dated & closed off with all of the rooms separated by walls. The space needed special attention in light of the prior construction with load bearing walls which needed to be opened up for our floor plan desires. Laura was able to understand our desires and offer us a design that allowed for the rooms to be opened up, giving us a room to room flow with a more spacious desired floor plan which is exactly what we were looking for. With Laura, it was easy to communicate our wishes. Her knowledge and understanding of modern design layout and the challenges we were facing with building construction in general, allowed her to design and offer a concept that perfectly fit our wants and needs. In addition, Laura’s past experience and professional relationship with the surrounding Township’s building code department’s requirements, notwithstanding Laura’s knowledge of the processes involved was extremely helpful in obtaining permits and occupancy certificates. We consulted with Laura from start to finish on our project, including colors, furniture placement and fixtures. We would hire Laura again and have highly recommend her to our friends and family.”

“From finding a lot to build on, to coming up with over 20 basic homes, to customizing it to our needs, these guys are beyond belief. Once we closed on the land, and came up with the final plans, had the land surveyed to breaking ground, today is 3 months. They are about 70% complete. They really know their stuff.”
