Kravet

We purchased a Kravet sofa on recommendation from our interior designer. The sofa was extremely expensive, took a long time to arrive, could not be delivered directly and had to go to a warehouse where it is unpacked and inspected and stored and then delivered (for a huge fee), and then arrived defective. The front beam that supports the front of the sofa was not one piece of wood but two pieces held together with some type of staple (see photo from the repair person). The whole front of the sofa sagged when someone sat in it for the first time. Why this was not discovered by the people we paid to unpack and inspect and then deliver, is a puzzle to me. And why a sofa would have two pieces of wood to support the front edge of the seating area is a big mystery and reflective of poor design. The quality for such an expensive sofa is terrible. Plus, the cushions are way too soft and make a noise when you sit on them (like they are filled with packing material or something). We wanted a refund, but the company would not honor that. They stand by their design (or poor design). The best the company would do is have a third party "repair" it by cutting some of the frame underneath the front seating edge to put in a new piece of wood for support. Very disappointed with this choice of furniture..

As a designer in Palm Beach Florida I use Kravet whenever I can. Their furniture is up to date in style and they are making a huge effort to keep their pricing competitive by offering hundreds of free fabrics, these fabrics are all in their Smart Fabrics. I was in the Kravet showroom in Jupiter Florida today and the showroom employees really do bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of, I never write reviews but Janis, Amber and Leslie could not have been more helpful. This is one of the many reasons I use Kravet. The company is like a well oiled machine as far as quality and service… and let me say again the sales team there get 5 stars from me. Design Inc. I purchased two custom couches from Kravet in 2019 through our interior decorator. They were expensive but my wife and I thought we were getting a high quality custom couch, so we decided to spend the money. The couches were for our living room that is only used for special occasions. After the first year we noticed some of the stitching on the cushions was pulling apart. This was disappointing, but since we didn't use the room that often we didn't make a big deal about it. This spring we noticed that the fabric on the couch nearest the window was starting to fade. It appears to be from the sunlight. The window faces west so only receives sun in the later afternoon. We sent pictures to Kravet and were told they do not warranty their fabrics appearance or durability. I am very disappointed with the quality and Kravet's refusal to correct the situation.

Today after placing an order online I called customer service to ask if there was a way to notate on their webpage when a product is shipping from overseas and has an unusually high shipping charge. There was no information on the product page saying that there was a very high shipping charge or to call for a quote on shipping. I lost money AGAIN ordering from Kravet. And the representative Julie was argumentative and rude. This will be my last order with Kravet. Sad, I once new Karen Kravet she was a darling person. So sad that the customer service in this company has deteriorated .

The selection of fabrics at Kravet is great but the quality of their furniture is horrible. My new Kravet sofa is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever owned (as well as the most expensive). I’m terribly disappointed and will never use Kravet again.

Kravet has a wide selection of fabrics and upholstery. The showroom staff is always very helpful and friendly. I look forward to using their products again in the future.

Kravet is one of our top “go-to” fabric sources. They have such a wide variety of product, from high-end luxury to more cost effective options. Elliot is always so fun to have join our meetings and new product presentations. You can tell he is passionate about the business and would literally go to the end of the earth and back for any of his clients. We love working with Elliot and his team. Sherry is our rep for Kravet, and with Sherry I can always count on her for everything. I can call her at any time and ask for literally any favor and should would jump right on it, even if it was above and beyond her job description. Not only would just jump right on it but she would be excited about it. I love how positive and genuinely excited and passionate she is about the industry. She and Liz are very on top of emails and phone calls and are always extremely responsive. Sherry makes our job 1,000 times easier and is a joy to work with.

This company provides very great quality fabrics. They are unique and well known. We love using them with our designers. We are able to find something that people really notice the difference in and it's not just your every day pieces. The texture is unique, the quality is amazing which creates a bit of a wow factor. It's really all about the fabric. You can actually see examples of their pieces on our profile.

An excellent source for upholstery, occasional furniture, and lighting. Their selection of fabric and wallcoverings is comprehensive. We have used their products in many of our projects. The service from their sales staff is incomparable.

Kravet is one of our favorite fabric companies. They have a price point that fits all our clients. Our rep keeps us up to date on all the new fabrics. We keep a large quantity of books in our showroom for display.
