“I have worked with Corey and Paul and GENCOR for many years. It started with a coffee table. I found it on their scratch and dent floor in the old shop. Then a mission style bed, a custom computer table for my wife, vanities in our house renovation and finally 12 dining room chairs. They have been great to work with. Their furniture and cabinets are all well built and have survived in a rough and tumble household. I would strongly recommend GENCOR and we will be getting more furniture from them soon. “We had just moved to a new house and I was 8 months pregnant when we asked Living Wood to make a headboard for us. Andy and Anna were amazing to work with. They were great at listening to what my husband and I wanted but had suggestions and ideas to help us in the design process. I was most excited about their suggestions for which wood to use. They found us amazing old barn board to make the headboard with. It has its own unique story, this wood, in each grain and line. This is what living wood means to us now, wood with its own life story. I also love how Andy made it with attention to detail and those little finishing touches like pegs where the headboard was screwed together. We are so happy with the final product, a beautiful headboard that is the centrepiece of our room! And the day after our headboard was delivered, our baby arrived too. Perfect timing!”
