“We would give them more than 5 stars if we could. D’Urso Landscape & Construction provides terrific design and installation services. We are really impressed. The most standout aspects are their stellar design, communication/customer service, and installation skills. They have a landscape designer on staff who will come on site and design everything and extensively help with material selection. Once samples are delivered and materials are chosen, they provide a detailed estimate and a to-scale design plan for final review. During installation, the owner Lucio, is personally here every day and heavily involved in the the entire project. He lays most of the materials himself and his team is very competent as well. The installation was precise and polished. It is refreshing to have the owner working alongside the team making sure everything is perfect and interacting with the homeowner to answer any questions that arise. Lucio also approached us a few times to offer some improvements that weren’t in the initial scope of the project such as pulling out old stumps, filling in an empty septic tank, and dealing with some rotted wood issues on my home. When they finished, the cleanup was super as well. Lucio, Kristin, and the entire team are just terrific and a pleasure to work with. They constantly go above and beyond during every phase of the project and, importantly, are good, kind people. We would 100% recommend them and plan to use them again in the future. We are absolutely thrilled with how our landscape has turned out. This company is impressive, knowledgable and most importantly they care about their customers and projects.”

“My front lawn needed top soil and reseeding. I also asked Encore to mulch and do some plantings. I was very happy with the work. The work was done within budget and on time. I asked the owner to make the decision when selecting the plantings. It was a large area and I didn't know what to buy. It turned out so well. I have already asked Encore to come back and do maintenance to keep it looking so beautiful.”

“Mather Clarke and his guys Justin and Shaun were professional, very knowable but most importantly they had passion for their work like they were creating a piece of art. You can tell they love what they do. We had an idea of what we wanted our yard to look like and they brought it to another level. Every night we would look forward to seeing another step completed and we went with their vision as we trusted them and their work. You can see on their website the before and after picture under the (Prior) name and what an amazing transformation. My family, friends and neighbors comment when they see our yard and say it is the most beautiful yard in the neighborhood. We loved the rocks they used along with the plantings and walls. The new scenery is so colorful and peaceful when we sit out on our swing and look out. The new green grass is so beautiful since we never really had a true lawn due to rocky and bad soil. If you are planning to transform your yard, I would only recommend Clarke Landscaping to do the work. “We hired MainStay Landscape to design and build a patio for our backyard. Prior to instillation, ground cover and a sloping lawn existed where the patio was to go. In addition there lived a perennial garden, surrounded by a short, Pennsylvania stone wall in the middle of the backyard. We wanted the garden removed and the Pennsylvania stone incorporated into the patio retaining wall We also asked that he build around a mature Cherry Tree that provides privacy for the home. Jay designed a 480 square foot, bluestone patio, boarded on one side by a Pennsylvania stone, dry stack, retaining wall that gently curves around the Cherry Tree. Underneath the tree he planted a few of the plants removed from the perennial garden. Jay also included 5 LED wall lights that send light cascading down the wall at night, along with two up-lights for the Cherry Tree. Throughout the planning process Jay was attentive to our questions and requests. He was straightforward and accurate with his pricing. And when the time came to actually build (took 2 weeks), Jay and his team displayed the utmost in professionalism and trustworthiness. It is impossible to give a higher recommendation. They simply do things the right way and with a friendly, honest approach. We could not be happier with our new living space.”
