“We met Lauren a few years ago and knew she was someone special. When we started to build our house a few months ago, we contacted Lauren to help us. Lauren is a true professional. Her knowledge and expertise as a designer is incredible. She is very passionate about what she does and is always there for her clients. She has always helped us in meeting deadlines with our builder along with her help in keeping within our budget. Her work quality is amazing. I can't begin to tell you how beautiful everything is that she helped us pick out for our new home. Lauren has a true gift in looking at something and in her mind's eye can envision something wonderful. We are looking forward to working with Lauren as we move forward to the next stages of designing our home. She is a wonderful woman and we are blessed to have her as our friend.”

“Having just finished the final touches on my finished basement project, I can truly say that the entire project from beginning to end was as easy an endeavor as I could possibly imagine. Colleen not only provided wonderful suggestions on design, build out and final decoration, but also referred me to the best possible contractors in my area. Through Colleen's help and guidance I now have doubled my living space and have a wonderful showplace in which to entertain. Colleen is a very thoughtful and creative designer with obvious experience and is readily willing to share that experience with great insight throughout a project. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again should I need help with another design project.”

“We hired Gene Glaze because of his experience and expertise in ADA standards. (We are retired and planning to "age in place.) Turned out to be a great choice. Gene is the best contractor I have ever worked with. He is highly regarded by his subcontractors, and hires the best. His site supervisor and head carpenter, Jeff, is delightful to work with and an outstanding craftsman. We're more than a year out from our major remodel, and I have no complaints or concerns. His designs (three baths, back deck, bedroom updates, extensive electrical work and plumbing) were imaginative and highly functional. His landscaping crew did great work, as did the roofer, concrete mason installing a new pathway from driveway to front doors. Interior painting and exterior siding were executed professionally.”

“We met with Matthew Pavelchak in the summer of 2017 to discuss plans for rebuilding a house on Beech Mountain. We wanted the new house to capture the spirit of the traditional Alpine Haus put on our lot in the late 1960's, but with the quality construction, updated features, and more comfortable living that a new home could provide. Matthew really listened to our needs and came up with a beautiful, creative, livable design. Throughout the construction process, he made himself available to talk with our contractor and visit the construction site multiple times to clarify the plans and answer questions. The house was completed in June 2020 and we could not be happier with the final product. Matthew designed a gorgeous, user friendly, comfortable home that we will be in for many years. I whole-heartedly recommend Pavelchak Architecture for your new home.”

“I first met Kimberly in 2001 when we were volunteers on a work day with Habitat for Humanity. Since that time I've worked with her on 10 or more projects. I've come to appreciate Kim more on each project. She draws great plans and does a masterful job of looking after her clients interest. In an age where every builder and architect touts themselves as being "green," few truly understand what it means. Kim is well prepared to help her clients build the most efficient and sustainable home.”

“I am a Real Estate Broker and my wife and I also buy and rehab homes for resale and to keep in our rental portfolio. Cody and his crew have done several jobs for me personally and for clients of mine. They are great at what they do and I have always achieved nothing but the best and most professional results in each of our projects. Each project was on time, but more importantly on budget. “Dianne Davant and her team designed my family's vacation home in Blowing Rock and did fantastic work! The home is polished yet inviting and every detail and accessory seems to be perfectly in place. My favorite aspects of their design is the inventive bunk room they designed for our lower level, for such a small space it is comfortable enough for adults. I highly recommend Diane for projects in both Florida and North Carolina!”

“Banner’s Cabinets has worked with Pam on numerous projects throughout the years. She is always pleasant and professional and excels at helping her clients clarify their vision and bring it to reality. When we have had questions regarding the cabinetry for her projects she is always prompt and helpful in getting answers, working with multiple subcontractors to get her customers the end-product they desire. Pam is a good friend and great interior designer. We highly recommend her!”
