“11/29/12 Anne has been my ‘go to’ Decorator since I have owned my home for 36 years. She has my complete confidence and trust in any aspect of decorating. I contacted Anne prior to ‘updating’ my home to be sure she would be available for me to consult with for her expertise. Without her, I would never have begun such an undertaking. We strategized, agreeing on what could remain and what shouldn’t. Anne’s vast knowledge and experience are calming in so many ways to me. She incorporates my taste, budget, and dreams as she proceeds. She takes notes, measurements, and pictures and guides my ignorance of current styles and design. She actually knows before I speak! My project started with the complete renovation of 2 bathrooms and master bedroom. Having been committed to a 1960’s pink tile for 36 years, I now lean toward neutral colors to have the flexibility in accessory colors. With both bathrooms being done in white corian, Anne graciously suggested paint colors that would spice things up yet remain neutral and flow with the surrounding rooms. She is focused, objective and patient, resulting in my satisfying decisions. Every step of the way, regardless of her schedule, Anne is available to hear my concerns: Marble or porcelain floor, shiny or matte, grout color, where from? How about fixtures, lighting, style, and finish? One by one, she answers all my questions so that I may focus on the ‘next thing’, and there are many. Moving on to the bedrooms, all of which have hardwood floors that have been refinished, Anne can refer contractors that are as professional as she and her friendly staff are. Bedroom furniture, window treatments, and carpeting that Anne researched and presented, not only accommodate the size of the room, but achieve the look I adore and have far exceeded my expectations. It is with great anticipation I look forward to enjoying my newly decorated home as we continue, room by room. “Susan designed a new kitchen layout for our home, including moving walls, changing plumbing, etc. She identified and hired the appropriate contractors and worked closely with the kitchen cabinet company. She worked through all of the details of the job with us (selection of countertops, tile, lighting, wall colors, flooring, window treatments). Susan ensured a very high quality job and we love our remodeled kitchen. We have also worked with Susan on the design and decorating of many other rooms in our home. She helped me place my furniture and decide what pieces I needed to buy, sell or put in storage given the new spaces. I've used her to hang artwork, decoratively organize my bookcases, and order custom window shades. We've also gone furniture shopping together and outfitted a guest room with new bedding. Jennifer has even done online shopping for me - providing me with choices that I could then order on my own. One of these online suggestions was a chandelier that turned out to be perfect for my needs and nearly identical to a very expensive one I had admired at in a design studio. I definitely recommend her if you need help with design details - especially if you're overwhelmed when trying to unpack and organize a new home.”
