“Gladys is a true professional and is the perfect example of great customer service! We love the shutters and blinds we ordered from her, especially the custom shutters for a big arch window in our family room (see photo). We reached out to a few companies when we were searching for shutters and blinds, but Gladys was the most responsive. She also took a lot of time to explain options to us and was very patient when I changed my mind and had to add to the order. The installation crew (Jeff and Jessie) are really nice guys too!”

“Maria is excellent to work with. Her memory for my preferences and with furniture I already have is exemplary. I wanted to mix some favorite Queen Anne cherry pieces with modern, clean lines in the living/dining rooms and the result is stunning! She follows through, is prompt, and is knowledgeable about product and colors. I trust her 'eye' and everything turns out beautifully done. I am working with her on another guest bedroom. “Our company purchased vinyl blinds from Stoneside Blinds approximately a year ago. Abbey was fantastic explaining the blinds and helped with my selection of which would be best for our windows. Once the blinds were ready they had the installer come and our windows looked fabulous. we did have an issue recently, I contacted Stoneside and they took care of it with out any issues. “I purchased 10 panels of the faux silk striped panels for my family room area. I ordered the back tab. These drapes are the finest quality I have ever seen and were very affordable. So good, that I have vowed to curtain my entire new home with drapes from Half Price Drapes. I love the quality of both the fabric and the craftsmanship. I highly recommend these drapes! “Kimber assisted me with my window coverings when I moved into a new home. It was a big project, with many windows to cover. She was excellent in helping me select fabrics that would both compliment my interior space and function well for each room. We even did a motorization for the window coverings in the living room and it worked out beautifully. Kimber was there to help oversee the installation as well, which went very smoothly. I would highly recommend Kimber.”

“Jolynn of Drapery Works is fabulous, and I'm so glad that I hired her to make my custom drapes-- she is very responsive in email and phone communications, and listened to my needs and my ideas for the drapes I wanted, and had the perfect fabric suggestions. On top of that, she was able to deliver the custom drapes on-time, even in spite of the holiday season. I have a big glass door in my north-facing bedroom, and after 2 freezing winters, I finally accepted that I needed drapes to insulate my room. My wool flannel tailored-pleat drapes with a color-block panel are not only the perfect colors for my room, but are also functionally excellent -- very thick, insulative black-out drapes. I couldn't be happier!”

“I hired Don to install blinds on every window in my house in Oakland in 2013. I was so impressed with the high level of personal customer service and attention to detail that I hired him again when we bought a new home in Orinda in 2016. He is the epitome of professional and customer-focused. He will listen to what you want and need and take into consideration your unique home and won't try to upsell you - he'll just bring in the samples that fit your needs and is an expert on all of the products he carries. When a cord broke on one of our Oakland blinds about 9 months after installation I called him and he had the whole 7' wide blind replaced within two weeks. And when our blinds arrived much earlier than he quoted for our Orinda home, he came that day to install them himself because his installer was booked and he knew we needed them to help our young children sleep (early bedtimes and long summer days make for a tough time getting babies and toddlers to sleep). I can't recommend him highly enough.”
