“Best awnings ever. Thanks RA!! So I hardly ever write reviews – it’s just not really my thing but I felt really compelled to write one for RA Awnings because they just did a bang-up job. You know how it is when people are super professional but also kind of friendly too, well yeah, those guys are like that. Me and my wife decided that we really wanted a retractable awning for our patio so we could spend more time outside without getting burned to a crisp. We chose RA Ultra Luxe in the end (even though the other options were nice too) and man, we couldn't be any happier! The awning just looks awesome and is kind of high tech too with angle changes for optimal shade and fancy LED lights for evenings. Super cool. The team that came to install were great. Showed up on time, didn't leave a mess and just really professional. And the awning itself? What a game changer! No exaggeration, our patio just feels more comfortable and looks great too. We’ve actually started spending more time outside and our friends have given us some really nice compliments. For a luxury buy the awning offers value for money when you consider the durability and peace of mind that comes with the 5 year guarantee. Anyway, that's the end of my rant haha. Just wanted to say a big shout out to the RA team. You guys did a solid job and we love our new awning. Highly recommend these folks if you’re needing something like this. Overall rating: (5/5 stars). They deserve all the stars, honestly.”

“Melissa Hutcheson's blinds have made the world of difference to my bedrooms: finally, no more street light seeping in at night! I have two very different sized windows in my master bedroom, but Melissa found a way to unite them with her blinds. I get so many compliments on the choice of fabric, too. Melissa made choosing entirely painless, by not drowning me in samples, and quickly understanding my tastes (despite the house being only partially furnished and undecorated at the time of her first visit). I would warmly recommend Melissa's services.”

“This was my first ever time commissioning curtains in my first ever house, and I can absolutely say that Sonia Whiteman made the experience a pleasure. I knew nothing about fabrics, linings interlinings, pleats, returns... Sonia talked me through all the options. She measured not once, not twice, but three times, and held my hand through everything, including putting up poles, return hooks and hold-backs. I really can't recommend her highly enough, she is an extremely skilled and careful seamstress, and a lovely person to deal with.”

“A friend who had used Bindu’s services recommended her for our sitting room project. I needed help with choosing curtain fabric to fit our existing sofas and she listened to my requirements and saw curtains and blinds I already had in the house to gauge my style. I love colour and Bindu was great with suggesting colour schemes and fabric. Once I had decided on the fabric which she ordered, she organised new poles which I painted myself, and she also organised the fitting of the poles and took great detail in the final fitting of the curtains which were then steamed in place. I can’t recommend Bindu enough for her ideas, professionalism and general friendliness.”

“Friendly and enthusiastic service in the shop by a lady called Sarah. She had an extensive knowledge on absolutely everything you'd want to know, spoken in a language you can fully understand. I wouldn't go anywhere else for blinds. Honest about prices and when fitted, the warmest man called Anthony sent around who worked efficiently and put a smile on our faces. Really pleased with our blinds and couldn't recommend Aspect any more!”

Attentive to detail and diligent in execution Christine gives her time generously to all her customers and delivers her expert advice with great humour. Christine really listens and tunes in to personal preferences and tastes but is happy to guide if you're hesitating or unsure. The linen curtains she has made for us are absolutely lovely, the blinds she has supplied have been great. I always love visiting the shop in Bruton for a chat and to seek inspiration from her stock of well chosen fabric samples.”
