Thankfully we found STITCH and Rachel, who made the process a dream and the results beyond our expectations. Because of how our house faces the street, we wanted bottom-up shades. We wanted light but privacy. We wanted materials made in the USA. We wanted to find a timeless yet modern aesthetic. Some other windows needed only sunshades. We also had interior windows that needed to look good in 2 directions. Rachel helped us find the right styles, fabrics, and the team measured and installed them perfectly. I had no idea how incredible the quality would be until I saw the final shades. Our custom Roman shades are literally hand-stitched and gorgeous. Rachel’s service is also top-tier. The work that she completed for us for 8 Lutron operated windows in our home was beautifully & thoughtful detailed; She considered the unique conditions of each window. 2 windows were extra large and required thoughtful planning & construction. The tape details that she added to these large windows and other windows was beautifully sewn. She made expert recommendations along the way for each window. “Windows and Beyond is the place to go for window coverings. We were so happy with what Doreen and Rick did for our first house, we decided to have them do our second house as well. Doreen is extremely honest with her recommendations - she won't just say things for the sake of selling you items. She will give you her most honest feedback and help you with the designs. She's not only knowledgeable about what is best for you house/window based on the size, location, and type, but she will give you the best price. They're also extremely meticulous about their measurements. Rick came himself to measure the windows and did a tremendous job if installing our shutters. For our second house, they came over to measure all of the windows and even came over the second time to make sure everything was correct - measurement as well as the designs/color matched each of the rooms. A year later, one of the shades had a little hole and Doreen was so good about replacing the whole window shade! This place is honestly the best place to go for window coverings if you want someone who can help with the designs as well as give you the best price.”
